People may know this already, but tested the settings.exe from the demo(Without the demo installed. It loads and gives you the options you would see in the demo. You can change as you want. When you save its saved in the settinhs.dat folder in you documents. Just copy it into the corresponding one in the main games save folder (backup first) ans

It def does the resolution. I can't be sure on the vsync options carrying over as for some stupid reason my PC is forcing vsync on in all my games even though I've it turned off in the amd settings. From looking it up Windows has its own vsync but don't know why it's only started giving me issues yesterday

Just a question: when you say “FPS locked in 60/30” it means that the value of FPS you read fluctuate between 60 and 30?

it means fps locked in 60 in gameplay, and locked in 30 in cutscene(replay, entrance, etc)

That very odd, I'd suggest the following:

- Go into your WEPES folder
- Delete everything
- Go to PES universe and down the OF again (make sure you select the PC file)
- Unzip with 7Zip
- Copy files into WEPES folder

- launch game
- go to edit mode, import/export
- Import competitions, press square to select all. Detailed settings, leave all untucked. Import.
- do the same for teams

Tried your suggestion. The gameplay is better than before but I have still some slowdon, especially in counterattack action. Thanks for help. At least now the game is playable. I hope konami will fix soon.
 
Trying to play Pes right now. Game is undergoing maintenance. I have applied the latest live update yesterday but today it isnt there? Lukaku at Utd etc.


Does the update not work when the game is offline? seems a bit odd
 
Played a lot yesterday and I still stand by what I've said after first match. It's just outstanding gameplay wise. I haven't had so much fun since PES6, literally, shooting is so much fun as it was in PES6 as well. I thought the last hope for Konami will be new generation next year, but they delivered finally, in the last year of the current generation, better late than ever :P
 
I'm still having issues with dribbling, shielding and feinting, but I love the weight of the players and the ball. You can just feel the inertia left and right. Only thing that really frustrates me so far is the player awareness and reaction time on loose balls. Defender could stand 2m next to the ball, but the game won't allow him to make a move, instead the attacker who is 10m away gets it first.

It seems. I have applied pesuniverse option file yesterday. But today is said "wrong version" or something like that. I wanna play offline, because i don't want to get everytime the message "you have earned xp because you... ". But it seems that we cannot play offline...
In setting you can't change ports to 0. They want you to go online.. Bad Konami.

Thank you! Will retry, maybe I used the PS4 file by mistake.
 
The update from konami is turned my pes upside down. I cannot play anymore. The live update could'nt executed. And pesuniverse of is wrong. I don't know, but Konami screwed things up.

i got code SGJC-0001

Have googled for answer but no.
 
i am just straight up angry about this Option FIles mess. Have been duped by PES Universe as well. Decided to splurge just it would be hassle-free, only to find out that the Bundesliga file has been removed. You could have told me that BEFORE I DECIDED to give you my money. Now I read that it's coming "soon". SO what the hell is soon? Very poor service. First and last time I'm doing anything like this.

I also noticed everytime PES 2020 went online, it always call http://pes20-x64-gate.cs.konami.net/ or 34.210.179.237 Maybe if we blocked that IP, PES 2020 will stop applying online updates ( also stop from playing online ).

Yeah your way is much easier mate...I was changing gate.cs.konami.net to .not :)...stick to your way.

Hi, do you have Nvidia geforce experience installed? If so, open it and select PES and then click the little spanner. Choose you display res and then put the slider somewhere in the middle. Click optimize.

fucks sake give them a chance.
The bundesliga files were corrupting the Option file when imported to the full game so they took them out to modify them.
In the meantime they have released everything else that works. They couldve held it all back but didnt.
V2 is being released in a few days.

Its just another thing to try until they release the fix. Hope it helps.

Rivatuner might be your best bet though. Switch off Vsync in Nvidia settings first. And then try setting FPS limits using the video below. try 60fps on a 60hz screen first, trying setting it slightly higher at say 72fps and see if that helps

I am giving them a chance "for fucks sake". Doesn't mean I can't be annoyed by not getting what was advertised after having paid for it. A pretty normal reaction in my view.
