eFootball (All Platforms)

I have been saying they should make a separate offline game for ages and they do a monkeys paw on my ass with Switch 2 only :R1

As is said earlier in this thread, i think they're testing the water. There's a lot of good sentiment about the game right now, EAFC is going through it and the latest update on eFootball is all based around inviting new users. It feels like they're soft launching a full(er) release (i don't expect all the bells and whistles). It also happened with their baseball game as someone pointed out so there is precedent.

We'll find out in July.

The game seems to be selling fairly well. It's was 3rd in the download charts for Switch 2 games and 8th in the overall charts yesterday. The more it sells the better the chances we get something more substantial in the near future 🤞

I would imagine it's pretty popular in Japan right now too.

OMG! Please announce more... Watch, they can release a standalone offline-ish Master League for teen quid which I'd gladly purchase to leave the dream team casino for good.

Why is this only on switch 2?
Looks like a sequel too PES Playmaker, perhaps a licence/exclusive thing to nintendo as the Champions Road which was perhaps the best/funniest mode i've ever played in a football game. More at lest to me than any Master League mode in terms of world building, with the whole stuffs like building your own stadium, training room/pitch and stadium you can enhance during the whole Road and that will affect the way your player will developp and if i remember people like better trainers you can buy the more you advance in the "story".

The only thing which makes me quit is that the game on wii, AI, wasn't intelling enough when you played with playmaker mode / Wii + Nunchunk : the combinations you could do where too advanced for the AI even in the hardest difficulty to handle all the player you could move everywhere.
With an average team (Udinese if i remember) every matches ended like 5 to 8-0 and i was only interest on enhancing card you could get (one card + another > unlock another special card and so on)

But with the basic style i suppose (didn't buy the Classic controller as i didn't know it was possible to play with on PES 2009 WII/i got to give my Wii and didn't followed the sequels) that would be another affair, for sure more challenging.

Also just on another note, the added some terrible mini master league thing in efootball as an event. Again, are they just gauging interest? There’s a lot to suggest they’re planning something for ‘27 but given it’s Konami I wouldn’t be at all shocked if they do nothing 😂
