eFootball (All Platforms)

You will be playing PES21, PES 5, 6, 13, 17 whichever PES you prefer...WE9LE....FIFA 16..etc etc....gaming has moved into a different pile of shit and it will never be the same....not only with PES/WE but any other game in general. We aleady have golden football titles to choose from. Who gives a fuck if they ever come back....football is not once it once was....ALL the sports in real life have doen graded the way the game should be played. NBA is a joke of a league what it once was. I dont care if in 10 yrs I play lets say PES 5 with the golden 2004-5 season. I could give two fucks scoring with Cole freaking Palmer.

I'm an old ISS/PES player and have been planned FIFA 24 for the last year but I've started playing e football again. I don't know what it is I just find it more enjoyable to play even with its limitations then FIFA.

One thing I do find a bit difficult is the lack of management and tactical changes you can make on the game stop. Does anyone have any good tips or formations they can share with me as I feel it is quite limited with what you can do on the tactic screen.

Also, is there a way to do scissor kicks as I've not seen any sense I've been playing it again?

I think to do trick shots you need to press L2/LT + shoot, and sometimes if the ball is appropriately positioned that executes a scissor kick.

Played a couple of offline matches with the latest version and... It's not bad.

I definitely saw some variety in plays and I scored a couple of goals that I don't think I had ever seen before. It's on the right track, gameplay wise... Presentation wise, I found it still a bit dull. Kits and player models are very good, lighting doesn't convince me fully though, and shadows are strange (especially the shadow of the ball, in my opinion). Still, a good game for sopme quick offline fun with friends or against the AI (considering that it's free).

It's a shame that they wouldn't add ML, not even barebone. Given the current state of the game, I'd definitely consider buying a ML DLC if it got released (and if it featured at least the chance to edit the unlicensed teams in order to at least have real names/crests/kits).

I think that with the change of producer, at least now the last two updates are going in the right direction, but there is still a lot of work to be done to fix or improve it to a capable level. When Junichi Taya took over, people had praise for him and he probably did the best job in a very short time.

I always set my centre backs to join in set pieces/corner kick before starting a match

Don't sweat it, it happens to the best of us. I used to beat superstar on PES 17 by 2/3 goals with championship teams every time. I downloaded the game yesterday and got my ass handed to me by Aston Villa playing as Manchester City :DD

Not quite as bad as Cambodia...i mean seriously 😂😂finding dribbling hard on here compared to the old games.

I find it to be the opposite, dribbling in eFootball 26 is far smoother and better than in PES 19/20/21. Though maybe you just have to get used to it. I can guarantee you though that once you get used to the dribbling you'll have a blast, it's very satisfying in this game.

What people don't talk about is how this game isn't inviting for new players when it first launched you could feasibly build a competitive team with gp by just buying normal players and upgrading them but that every team is filled with 98 overall players the GP market players are basically useless. It doesn't help that there's no online marketplace to sell and buy players that you don't need anymore. With EAFC teams reset every year so it's easy for new players to start and be competitive meanwhile because of the live service model new players in Efootball with have a 78 rated Ben White going against 102 rated Pele and immediately rage quit. This sort of garbage used to be restricted to freemium mobile games but now every game requires you to pull out your credit card for stupid virtual currency. And of course the currency packs are weirdly priced they never tell you how many coins one player is worth and it's locked behind casino slot machine mechanics with hidden odds so you never end up with the player you want just pull out your credit card buy some fake coins and spin and you might end up with end level 105 rated Messi or 75 rated Harry Maguire. How I wish the EU would adopt what Belgium did and ban this gambling loot box trash.

I disagree with you in that GP players are still very much viable. GP Mbappe can still carry you to division 3 easily. Even in eFootball 26 with a full GP squad you can definitely get to at least division 3/4.

I agree with you in that this kind of scummy gambling model should be banned. Both eFootball and FUT, they are exposing gambling mechanics to little kids. It's genuinely disgusting what Konami and EA have fallen to. I mean EA was always bad but Konami at least had a somewhat okayish reputation in my eyes.
