I gave the latest eFootball update a try because I saw there was some nostalgia pandering and I was curious... most of it was just cards for Dream Team, which I couldn't care less about, I also used a new account and got a Messi card right away... what's the point? Where's the fun if everyone gets Messi of all players, right from the get go? Where's the fun of the early grind? Anyways there's a mode that makes everything look like Winning Eleven/Goal Storm, which I found charming and enjoyed playing, but after a few minutes the novelty wears off. I've played some cooperative matches with my dad and it was alright in terms of gameplay, but we wanted to play a league or cup and there's no way to do offline cooperative outside of friendly matches. It has a lot of potential, but for me that's all eFootball's had since the 2022 version, we're going to the 2026 one, and still all this has is promise, but no pay off, nothing.

Why can't they give us proper offline modes as DLC? It's easy money, why are they so against it?

So BVB have chosen greed over principles. The only club (as far as I know) that chose to terminate their contract with Konami early, and Konami responded by signing up their biggest rivals in Schalke 04. And now, they come crawling back... 😂 I just hope EA managed to keep the stadium, at least...

EA Sports DE (if im not mistaken) said on Instagram that stadium will be in EA FC 26

There was a part of me that thought that considering it was a 30th anniversary event, they would do something to celebrate that legacy by acknowledging it and giving us, the community that have been playing this game for decades....something

Instead, their celebration of this legacy was just another low in their relentless desctruction of it: cards, new gambling mode, cards, new mobile gambling game, cards, bantz with old-man Zico, cards.

Konami should've offered them less money or tell them to fuck off for being disrespectful in their last contract.

If they had come out at the beginning and said that , people would have accepted it in time but to keep giving the impression it was coming is just poor. Thankfully we have football life/pes 21 and all the mods

Me and a few others always got laughed at when we said this back in the day. I think its save to say that thats it folks, play fantasy football or get lost!
