That’s why I use manual passing, it’s much better and the cpu don’t intercept them as much cos the passing lanes on level 1 2 and 3 are predetermined
 
OK officially I hate this update, for me that is the worst gameplay since 1.0.0
I hate passing, I hate shooting, I HATE dribbling, I hate defending..
For some reason there is a huge delay in passing, between pressing the button, the power bar showing, and the animation execution... one-touch pass works FINE, but if you take control over the ball and then pass... it messes up! Shots are passing to GoalKeepers, lacking sharpness, speed, or heaviness.

I can't play this shit... I don't know what SpoonyPizza talks about

lol that's because spoony sold out long ago. Truebrits also, I actually liked watching this guy (unlike spoon) and then he starts making video's of him spending his free coins in a bullshit casino. The fact that you can't even tell Bayern's GK kit from their player kits (at least during normal gameplay) says a lot about how little they care, in my opinion.
It's been like this for yaers and they've never ever given a single f**k about it, even if they know that on consoles this is totally immersion-breaking.
 
The whole thing now feels like the players are playing in a swamp, they are all super stumbling, they don't have any dynamics, every turn is difficult, players like Mbappe and Neymar now feel like Maguire and Crouch.
And passing.... they are so so so so so bad... i still can't believe how bad they are f up with this update.
 
Maybe that is the plan? Now all this 100 ovr. players, to feel bad as 60 so they can sell you 125 ovr with double or triple boosters players?

How the fuck can this POS game be so inconsistent?? One match players are responsive, and the other they take stupid extra touches, can't hold any attackers to save their lives, miss all the passes they try, it's incomprehensible how you can go from heaven to hell in just two matches... AND IT'S JUST BEEN UPDATED. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD KONAMI.

Im on ps5 and i noticed that input lag depends on which stadium im playing. Gameplay feels completely different which results in one time everything works another time nothing works. Its very frustrating. Try to play a match in the standard stadium and then in old trafford to me it feels totally different even the game speed.
There is a reason why the Standard Stadium is the only one available in the mobile version and they dont bother to optimise it for real gaming equipment!

Yeah but for all the wrong reasons!

In all cases, they have lowered the accuracy and power of Through Passing significantly, I don't know if this is a good or bad change. Still, playing a coop event, 90% of people can no longer pass you the ball forward, a barrage of intercepted or inaccurate passes.

Even the one-touch passes are significantly sharper and more accurate, people have noticed that so now it is a madhouse and spam of one-touch passes which makes the gameplay like Looney Toons
 
I think I know how to describe this gameplay update most accurately! It's like managing a group of strangers randomly picked up off the street, most likely alcoholics who have never played football, you don't feel like you're managing professional footballers. Because of this, almost every pass feels awkward, every shot feels awkward, and every run and dribble feels awkward, some animations look and feel awkward, add the changed ball physics, the game feels very unpleasant and heavy to play

All this features of game can by easily describing by one name - "UglyBall 24" or "UglyFest 24" or "eSkamSh1t 24".

Imo the gameplay update is fine. One thing that i find different is the crossing mechanic. Noticed some new crossing animations too.

Played some trial mode matches. Settings are still locked which is stupid.

Portugal vs france. A physical match. 6 fouls by cpu, 3 fouls by me. Won the game at the death.

Inter vs bayern. Cpu play more patient and more build up from the back
 
This thread is on loop it seems. Whenever someone comes in with some valid criticism, the next posts will be one of 3-4 people, explaining how amazing the "game" is..

& then just like clockwork, a HOPEfull video. What a sad timeline.

edit: there baseball will be played a lot on consoles, they won't do it like efootball, I know from the top that they have a completely different idea for this baseball mobile version.

Cant speak for Spoony but TTB has never ever sold out and just like me have very similar distain for efootball right now in its state and I can play efootball far better than he can, I adapted to this new defence system of holding 'X', then timing 'SQUARE' shoulder barge, jockey and so. But its still fucked. The game is way too fast! We aren't getting any realism until games longer than 10 minute are unlocked a long with way more tactical depth is needed. TTB said this briefly in his last PES 2021 master league video as to why PES 2021 is still better than efootball. Sadly there's no audience for the classic older games on youtube anymore so he's admitted to playing efootball to stay relevant to new audiences even if its clear he's not having much fun with it unlike PES 2021 still with some great Master League matches this season. Please don't get it twisted in thinking he's selling out by literally playing the game a few times his channel is based on, not to mention there is nothing to 'sell out' for with PES or efootball, nobody is making anything relevant enough to make any money. Konami are to thank for that, they are doing everything to kill their own community with no offline modes for a good 3 years now!

Weather was atrocious over last weekend so decided to see what the fuss was about this new update for efootball. The fact that I got some fun from it, just playing the game the way it is actually annoys me even more about this situation. If this gameplay core was total trash or even EAFC level broken with no hope, its easy to wash your hands with this franchise and move on until a new engine arrived. TMK who likes efootball also agrees with me on the games key flaws in defending just being a ridiculous mosh pit, cheating CPU AI, primitive tactics and passing. For me the frustration of the wasted potential hurts far more than its just being plain shit with zero potential.

This obsession Konami and so many modern gaming companies have with 'easy money' from micro transactions with game STILL a demo almost 3 years later over proper content is why football game is quite frankly dead right now. Its a broken situation as the one thing to stop this is people stop buying packs!! This sadly will never happen as an entire generation of kids have grown up at now 7-15 years old who only know buying packs to win as normal for gaming.

I'm now playing on superstar versus the computer and struggling with the difficulty. Apart from playing useless teams does anyone have any tips or advice to create more chances.?

I love the critical drinker too but TTB is as far away from THAT message and the selling out message as it gets.

2 years on from that video and the guy still continues to push realistic offline football to many people out there so I not just firmly disagree he's any kind of sellout. I don't get why a person who is essentially your ally in wanting proper offline football back is being treated as if he's sum sort of Twitch FUT RTG melt.
