For me, Konami's body of work over the past 5-7 years does not warrant trust or excitement. "By the fruits of their labor you will know them" and the fruits of Konami's labor is purely profit (which is not entirely a negative thing) as long as you are still catering to the entire fan base that got you to where you are today, the veteran players. not the new generation of my club players and even newer players who pick up a phone, download, play when they're bored and delete. The way i see it, apart from fut/my club and pro players who want extremely fast, un realistic, skill move orientated gameplay, there is no hope for a football game at the moment. Yet we, as a community hold all the cards, we should band together to Boycott this new release and any other similar releases after this until Konami realize they've lost a substantial amount of their fans and players and that it hasnt gone the way they hoped. Once that happens they will do one of two things, they will either give the community what they really want or stop making pes all together. if they choose the first option they will realize that they should stick to what makes pes better than fifa which is its simulation gameplay revolving around realism, tactics, formations and Master league instead of competing with fifa in an area they can NEVER even slightly compete in. Alternatively, if they stop making PES it will leave a space for a company who sees the demand in the market for r4ealistic, tactical, simulation orientated gameplay football game. Like Steel City Interactive are doing with ESBC, a small or moderately sized company who actually care about the consumer and are dedicated to making the best game possible that fans want and not just the most money possible. We need to realize that together we hold the power and can influence the state of affairs but the problem is we bitch and complain and still mindlessly buy or in this circumstance, download their product. So in my eyes we either boycott and wait.. or put up and shut up and be bent over the table while playing their sub par product! #BOYCOTTEFOOTBALL

He is Danish. Prior being selected as CEO for SønderjyskE A 1. Division soccer club in Denmark I checked his Linkedin profile: He was at EA prior to going to Konami. Compentencies for a real club? I have no idea what management is thinking there.
 
I’m not gonna always just harp on about it but I tried again to play PES 21 and it’s just awful for me. So much so that when I put PES5 back on, that games just feels right . It’s engaging and enjoyable from the first minute. No sliders, no speed adjustments, nothing needed.
Not even Fifa 16 comes close for me. While 16 can be good, it still has a flavour of something I just can’t enjoy with any fifa game.

I’ll obviously try both this year but god, a modern PES 5 feel would be amazing .
 
For me, bigger ? is what will be announced tonight ... new football game ??? (probably just some manager or something arcadish, but lets hope).

Tomorrow is just another trailer which will end up our misery ... and all hopes.

I'm thinking that indeed it's the case, because Geoff Keighley wouldn't troll an entire world with a picture in a tweet, that a new football game will be on his show.
I guess we should expect something today because tomorrow will be some indie games presentation that will be presented by IGN in a different place...

That can't be achieved really due to the consoles and hardware we have now
So having a PES 5 on newer consoles would technically not be the best use of current consoles.

But PES 5 variation in AI and play beats new PES with a day and night difference.
Same for FIFA

I really wonder what the hell they'll show in the gameplay trailer tomorrow, If its like the NFG beta we had but with slightly upscaled graphics I won't be surprised

Interesting we defo need more companies trying to get more football games off the ground. Think most companies think its a no go with EAs monopoly.

Imagine the rage if this is some Xbox exclusive.

If it looks and sounds positive, then yes that's some straight up bullshit worthy off a high cuss.

But if it's another eFootball/MTX game than the publisher would be too stupid to make that exclusive to one console.
