if it's any consolation as long as the world doesn't end before we're probably less than 10 years away from being able to put enough prompts into an ai model and then with tweaking the results to get our own personal preference football game. Unless new legislation is passed before then licensing wouldn't be a problem for personal private use too. I know a lot of people are dead against ai but that's one upside

Is there any reason to buy this now or wait for the price to drop apart from me shaming Konami for not having Master League by mocking them playing a Career Mode?
This is literally the only reason I can see to get this and if I do for 100% certain it will be PC as I still can't be arsed with a PS5.

Played another few games, how come they can just barge through the back of you, really struggling to play it, I’ve had a few wins but finding it really unresponsive at times

FC27 could be very PROMISING but folks could be playing it the WRONG way!
1. Do not play Authentic Gameplay style because the core animation of this game is designed for COMPETITIVE. Authentic gameplay adjusts player speed etc and makes every thing look super slow and sluggish and not REALISTIC. Try enabling Authentic Features instead in CUSTOM gameplay mode. (We have three modes to choose from COMPETITIVE, AUTHENTIC and CUSTOM)
2. R1 dribbling AI hack finally FIXED (kind of since EA has provided a feature to tackle it).For those of you who do not know, pressing R1 dribbling button, you could walk into defence with them ultra containing you. Well, not anymore! Thanks to the control SPRINT sliders set to 99 which makes R1 dribbling unusable
3. Opposition AI is aggressive and it really is promising.
4. COMPETITIVE animations are actually smooth and not glitchy (miles better than AUTHENTIC! but still nowhere near to FIFA 22 early version, so the HYPERMOTION BS is still present ) . Adjusts CUSTOM instead of using preset
OVERALL for folks who are disheartened by AUTHENTIC clips, I would say go for trial and keep in mind the above points. I am sure you will like a lot more in fc27 than all of the previous FC years!

Play with Pro camera on FUMA. It is really hard since you can only see a portion of the field (not the entire tactical situation at a single glance) and judging depth on passes and the timing of runs really takes some skill. But scoring a FUMA goal on Pro camera is the closest you can get to the real thing.

You can do this now. Hook up an MCP to Unreal. The key is the “enough prompts” qualifier - it will still take thousands of iterations (and billions of tokens) but the limitation isn’t technology, it’s your time expressing your vision clearly and making the key strategic decisions (and money). Still may end up being crap if you don’t have a clear, consistent vision of what you’re trying to achieve.
AI it's a rigged "game". They've invested so much they'll need to make their money back with the help of the tyrannical governments. This is why the media are full of scary stories/interviews lately. They will try to tax people for using it or even not using it. You need to question what's really AI? For sure it's not the autonomous entity they want you to believe it is.
A lot of people are convinced we're progressing as humanity but in fact we're rapidly going back to the Stone Age.

its a mess of a game again, spent more time messing with settings and sliders trying to slow it down, also graphic settings in game and nvidia just trying to play a game that isnt played 100 miles an hour, authentic, competitive , none of it makes any diffrence
You can't fix broken animations because you speed up or slow down a game. You can make it a bit more attractive but it's still broken by default. Slow or fast, the players in this game are sliding more like Santa on drugs and they're making 20 steps on the same position per second with the ball glued on their feet. Can you fix that? Nope.

Custom looks to be the same slider values as authentic though?
When I switched to Custom, all values seemed to be to set to 50 by default, which was different to last year as switching to custom would default to Authentic values.
Do you really believe this nonsense? There's no authentic/competitive gameplay. It's just a few scripts running in the background and give you somewhat different results but the design of the game's animations is unchanged. These aren't too separate gameplay modes, it's just a 10mins new lines of coding which a 10yr old can implement with the right tools as an amateur modder.

One thing I’ve noticed after playing a few matches of FC 27 is the lack of variety in the goals I’m scoring.
I’ve thought that many of the FIFA/FC games in recent years have been pretty poor in a lot of ways, but one thing I always felt they did relatively well was goal variety. You could score in all sorts of different ways.
After playing a few matches of FC 27, though, I’ve noticed that I’m basically scoring the same type of goal over and over again. Most of my goals seem to come from getting in behind and ending up one-on-one with the goalkeeper (which is really unsatisfying considering the keepers are frozen on the goal line). I’ve barely managed to score from a volley or a header so far. Long shots rarely seem to go in either, and I haven’t really seen any deflections or other random/rebound-type goals.
Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me being terrible at the game?

I’m having an issue where, when the AI scores, no goal celebration is triggered. Instead, the player just runs straight towards the halfway line. Sometimes they run towards the corner flag instead, which triggers an interactive celebration where they interact with the corner flag in different ways.
Basically, I’m not getting any custom or player-specific celebrations at all. I’ve googled it, but it seems like I’m the only one experiencing this issue. I’m playing on PC, by the way, and I also had this issue on FC 26.
