I'm absolutely moved.

But the 'good' Fifa games like 14 had all these things and they've been forgotten about as they catered more and more towards brainrot UT gameplay.
I agree. For example in FIFA 14 (which, despite being a great game, was in my opinion the first title heavily centered on Ultimate Team), different computer-controlled teams used to play in different ways. Yet, now this thing is being advertised as a "new feature".

its like the last 2-3 yeare, we only get some graphics Update and thats all, people pay for this little things 60 bucks...
you could easy stay with FC 25 + ESim and Gameplay Mods
There have been graphics updates?

I couldn't tell apart screenshots from EAFC games from that era. Except maybe from kits
 
Yeah EA clearly states it's not just a set of sliders that separates the two modes like last year. As far as I understand there are specific gameplay animations for authentic modes.

3 key area will determine if I will need to use a mod for pc.
- Unpredictability. It's key for me. No match should look the same.
-Players prone to error. Even superstars should make errors in a match. Passing, shooting, tackling etc.
-Players momentum. They introduced the feature that the speed and weight of a players would matter when changing direction in fifa 13 but they gradually removed it. Now players like Konate stop on dime and change direction like a feather in the air. Weight doesn't matter.
I’d kill for errors, in both career and clubs. Passes and shots shouldn’t be so accurate, especially with the way movement is.
 
I actually am happy if they improved the dribbling responsiveness. However, there should be a fine line between responsive controls and delay. Feeling too delayed takes me out of the game, but if it's too responsive without any penalty, then it will get boring since there's no challenge.

Something like FIFA 10 World Cup and FIFA 10 would feel best. Those had fast and responsive dribbling but you couldn't just zip past defenders and would loose the ball easily. The slowest I'd be okay with are ones like FIFA 16 which is not responsive but not delayed enough either.

The last FIFA I played for an extended period was FIFA 23. And the dribbling felt very weird, it's not like it was very slow and at times it felt faster than FIFA 16 but man the animations and the way players moved felt so slippery and jelly like and it ruined the experience for me. It's just like PES 21 in that regard. PES 21 at times feel faster than PES 14 but because of how the players slide over the grass, it feels horrible. On games like FIFA 16 [and even 14 old gen which I hate because of it's delayed dribbling] and PES 14 it always felt like the player's foot actually anchored to the grass and not slide all over the place and it made the overall controls feel satisfying.



I haven't bought FIFA 25 and last time I tried to play it with my friends via Parsec, the game wouldn't just work. Either it was an problem on my friend's pc or EA made sure their games won't work with Parsec anymore. And if that's the case, then I wouldn't even bother buying FIFA 26 since these days I just play coop/ vs with my friends via Parsec. And if it doesn't work, I might as well just play the older games with them.
 
You missed the part where after the first trailer everybody loudly exclaims that they won't buy the game this year, just to silently backpedal on that one week later.
Can't speak for everyone else but I haven't bought one in 3 years.

I really liked last years game at the start. but I only had the 10 hour Game Pass trial. I kept a couple of hours back for when they released the first couple of patches by which time it was ruined as usual.

A commitment to not change authentic gameplay with patches is good. But I will do the same thing again and wait before buying.

All the games from 09 up to 17 were pretty damn good. Is the game fun is my primary concern, because we're heading for a decade now where Fifa games haven't been. And I haven't loved a PES game since 19.

And of course its not simulation football by any means, but clearly that concept has become so niche that those of us who are interested in it will never see it again.

In FC 25, the gameplay was sensational, and in the settings tab, there was a mode called simulation. This simply involves adjusting pre-set sliders.
Later, the gameplay was destroyed, with hundreds of algorithms, making it similar to previous versions. The reason? It was to please Ultimate Team fans.
Now, we have a new proposal or hope: authentic gameplay.
But, I asked with concern: How much of it was really separate when the game receives updates, which will certainly come.

See the graph below.

It seems, I say, "it seems" to still be just the pre-set sliders.



My intention, as a simulator enthusiast, is simply to raise the question of how independent authentic gameplay will be. Ok

NAH , authentic its not just a slider preset , its a bunch of features hence why there is also Competitive feature toggle. which will be On if set to competitive mode.
so you could technically set it to Custom mode - have Competitive feature toggle OFF and adjust to your own liking also.
 
Movement is still cooked I see judging by the trailer. Doesn't matter what fancy modes and words you come up with, game is fundamentally broken

Agree, but you know even if its obvious, the dopamine hype train is way too powerful in some, and people even realizing its the same broken shit, they'll still blindly buy it massively even at a stupid price just to play it earlier. A twisted presentation with fake marketing are powerful to deceive on selling recycled content.
