Bundesliga 2008/2009

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

i am really afraid of next week, cottbus is a very unfair playing side in my opinion (no real quality players so they are ONLY fighting), i don't want to see them injure any of our players.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

I'm glad for Giminez that he got 2 goals. Great player, and the Berlin Olympiastadion looked great the other day. I must make it soon for we10..

Thank God for Eurogoals and Eurosport. I can't see paying another 13 squid a month for Setanta.

Will be sad if we lose the bundesliga in pes6. It's such a underated league! :(

Great goal by Polak too OPM ;)

Good for you. He was crap with Marseille last year :). That's always the same with my club, players start to score after they left (Marcelinho style...) :( .

I don't understand how he can be 1st scorer for the moment.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

Borussia M'Gladbach 1 : 0 Borussia Dortmund

... 1: 0 39' Kahe

Gladbach takes the pole position for now. Kahe really seems to have figured out how to score again. :)
Second Division was a lot more entertaining today. 17 goals in three matches. :) (Tobias Schweinsteiger scored for Braunschweig; older brother of Bastian.)

really really poor performance by dortmund. just long and wide balls. no creativity at all. they really miss rosicky. even koller could play better combination football than pienaar / frei / smolarek today.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

today:

15:30 Bayern Munich - Alemannia Aachen
15:30 Hamburger SV - Werder Bremen

15:30 Mainz - Hertha BSC

15:30 Stuttgart - Eintracht Frankfurt

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

Hans Meyer. His 63 years old, a coach for 35 years now. lead Carl-Zeiss Jena to the final of the cup winners cup in 81, but lost it 1:2 to Dinamo Tbilisi. :)

* 1970 - 1971 Carl Zeiss Jena (Co-Trainer)
* 1971 - 1983 Carl Zeiss Jena
* 1984 - 1987 Rot-Weiß Erfurt
* 1988 - 1993 FC Karl-Marx-Stadt / Chemnitzer FC
* 1993 - 1994 Carl Zeiss Jena
* 1995 1. FC Union Berlin
* 1996 - 1999 FC Twente Enschede
* 1999 - 2003 Borussia Mönchengladbach
* 2004 Hertha BSC Berlin
* seit 2005 1. FC Nürnberg

he's a big fan of 4-3-3 and offensive football, guess that is what he took from his time in enschede. (he's still a highly rated coach over in the netherlands)

he also saved hertha from relegation in the 03/04 season.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

Very entertaining match tonight:

Borussia Dortmund - Hannover 96 2:2

1:0 Smolarek (5., Kringe)
1:1 Hashemian (75., Rosenthal)
2:1 Smolarek (76., Tinga)
2:2 Huszti (78., Hashemian)

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

An entertaining match indeed. I'm so glad I checked the streams and saw the game is on so I could see some Bundi action. It's a shame there's not more streams every week and the freeview channels aren't showing any games as well.

I mustn't miss Sportschau tomorrow.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

yup, a must see. i'm at my teams ground tomorrow to see the match against mainz, but i'll be home for this again. i really prefer it over my pay tv match day footage :D

such entertaining matches as the dortmund one make me even more angry konami is leaving our great league out this time round :(

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

So Bundi really won't be in PES6? That sucks, because Bundi is a quality league with many great individuals.

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

yes, it is confimred. only hope left is that they might put in a total of 17 "empty" teams (+fc bayern license)

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

Bielefeld - Cottbus 3:1 (0:1)
Aachen - Bochum 2:1 (0:1)
Frankfurt - Hamburg 2:2 (1:0)
Wolfsburg - Bayern 1:0 (1:0)
Bremen - Gladbach 3:0 (3:0)
Nürnberg - Mainz 1:1 (1:0)

we drew the last 4 matches - and are top of the table. this is just absolutely stupid. again in the lead, again dominating the match, again just a point. and still topping this fucked league. bad day. :nono:

1 1. FC Nürnberg 6 2 4 0 7:3 4 10
2 Werder Bremen 6 3 1 2 12:9 3 10
3 FC Schalke 04 5 3 1 1 6:3 3 10
4 Bayern München 6 3 1 2 7:5 2 10
5 Hertha BSC 5 2 3 0 8:2 6 9

What a fecked start for Bayern, at least the other top-clubs stumble as well.
Missing six points against the likes of Bielefeld and Wolfsburg is a bummer nonetheless. Hamburg, Bremen, Schalke are all strong sides yet to come and you could bet we won't get 18 points out of all six games.

Mark Van Bommel is a guest in the "ASS"(:D) just now, funny, sympathetic fella, really. :)

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

just what i thought. amazing. great addition to the BuLi. glad bayern got rid of mr. asshole ballack and replaced him with a really kind person that van bommel truely is :D

Not based on the start to the season that we've had :(

Re: Bundesliga 2006/2007

Aachen now top of the table after beating Mainz 3:1 at Bruchwegstadion...strange league situation.
