Arsenal Thread

Wow, that's massively unlucky...the day after the transfer window closes! Mental!

Still, clean sheets have never really been your strong suit. Might make things even more exciting!

Sometimes, I'm asking to myself that "Why is God doing that to us?". When we have a little of something, the possibility of losing becomes greater than ever. When we have a lot of something, the possibility of losing becomes almost zero. pff.. we weren't created for fun, were we?

o for fucksakes. fabianski is out for the rest of the season. fuck now where stuck with almunia as i can see wenger playing him instead of shzelzy or whatever his name is.

where fucked. another season without a trophy.

Calm down mate! It's not as if Fabianski was our trump card to win the Prem.
It is indeed a shame, cause he was slowly becoming almost bearable to watch.

But let's face it, the younger Pole is a more talented GK. I'm not more confident with Almunia/Fabianski than with Szczezny. He's becoming a very good keeper.

Actually, he picked the injured before the Man City match, so it's hardly a surprise, innit? It looks as though this is yet another f*ck up at Arsenal's medical and physios staff. Heads should roll really, FFS!

Indeed. The more I think about it, the more frustrated I become with this situation.

Another thing worthy of mention is the match against Huddersfield, where Nasri AND Denilson both had hamstring problems. Two identical injuries in the same match, that's no coincidence. Now with Nasri out for a long time, the price we pay is very high.

Add to this that Rosicky and Djourou situation couple of seasons ago, the Vermaelen situation now. Recovery taking 5 times more than it should.

That department can't prepare players, nor recover them. A bunch of headless incompetents. But they still have butts to be kicked out the door, which needs to be done IMO. A complete overhaul is needed there.

i can't imagine how can Wenger not be thinking: hey, veeerrrry similar injuries for years now? could it be my phisios or the martians, the free-masons, the skull-and-bones society at fault?!
yes, our players are injury-prone. but you can predict the time / moment of the season and the type of injuries even. whenever we're having many matches, you can bet someone will fall.
we're way past the point when we would hand it to bad luck, fragile players or what-have-you.

What's going on with Squi? he should have been our reliable, experienced defender, instead that's who Koscelny is. thank god for that.

Wenger said Chesney will start your next game.

hahahah that's so old school. I remember watching these guys as a little kid. The bald guy in Samp was Lombardo! Very good player!!

Mancini was pretty good himself too. Not Italy's best though, they had even better options but he was a pretty good forward.

Dowd wikipedia page right now LMAO

I would kill just for a chance of punching that cunt's face

This wasn't the first, certainly won't be the last time Arsenal got ripped off by that spineless twat.

Irrespective of Diaby's reaction, it is unacceptable to have him sent off and nothing for that almighty cunt Barton. NOT TO MENTION both non-existant penalties.

One begins to wonder... all of this isn't much of a coincidence, as it is all against Arsenal. Look at Everton's goal last week, and now look at this mess today.

English football is turning into something disgusting.

Two soft pens, though the first was arguable.

No card for Barton for that new shin-tackle that he made twice during the match.

Only a yellow for Nolan for doing same thing to Szczesny as Diaby did to Barton.

The DIVE from Barton that created the fourth goal.

Didn't see the first penalty but the second is too obvious it wasn't penalty. But my point is, Phil Dowd has made mistakes but those mistakes shouldn't justify kind of bad result.

Seriously, I think you should blame either Diaby and Wenger, it is unacceptable that a team like Arsenal can't hold a 4-0 result even down to 10 men.

C'mon, watch the play again... That cunt almost broke Diaby's leg, in just his 3rd match back from months of injury... and having had a broken leg some years ago. One can obviously understand the reaction.

I see what you mean, it's easy for us to judge. But Diaby took the worst option. He should have just stayed down and tried to earn Barton a card... But if he was to lose his head, should at least have done it properly and delivered a proper blow to that clown's face.

Knowing how ridiculous FA's sanctions are, Diaby is likely to get 3 games.

wasn't about Diaby, clearly about the ref.
Of course it's ridiculous to lose such a lead, but it would never have happened without 2 made up penalties. Never, no matter how shit you play.

fully understand ! but he played into his hands. Which changed the way the game sort of took shape. Now ! we have 2 CM injured 1 banned. 2 Cb out we have wolves at home, not so much damage there , but seeing we play Barca 3 days later :COAT:

Yeah agree. He disallowed a goal by Leon Best, bastard!

he also disallowed a onside goal for Van persie as well

and didn't send off barton for a too footted challenege

and gave Barton a free kick when he dived (4th goal

and gave a penalty for nothing (3rd goal)

and didn't send off Nolan for putting Szcezny in a headlock.

Not to mention countless non fouls against arsenal!

Yes, he was really fair wasn't he :)

the second half made me sick. diaby - what a plonker! fucked up the game he did. i understand his frustration, but the reaction was very bad. HONESTLY, bring eastmond or whathaveyou.
i though british reffs were the reliable bunch of the european reffs... dowd single handedly punshed the tunes back in the game. and they didn't need help.
so here's a perfect example of our fragility defensive wise. Squi should have been our strong point, but he's the lesser of all of our CBs. not reliable at all.
and i hope the commentators choke on their waffles. pricks!

BUT, Arsenal and Wenger can't blame anybody for this disaster. we were 4 - 0 up 25 mins in the game we should have slaughtered them. instead we and diaby cocked it up.

on the bright side: Sczezny is smashing!
