Bendtner is decent in the air but now with Chamakh, Arsenal will FINALLY have some DANGEROUS f'n POTENT Aerial ability in front of their attack. This guy offers a bit of everything but his aerial ability, (heading, jumping, reaction, bravery) is outstanding! Its been so long since Arsenal had a dangerous forward in the air!
Guys like Adebayor and Bendtner are tall, in fact taller than Marouane, and decent in the air, some may argue even better than decent, 'good', but certainly nothing great! He can now make great use of crosses were they to be supplied in the box and the style Arsenal plays change, which could considering new arrivals and possibly departure of Fab.
About the whole Fab thing, If I were Cesc, I would go too now at this time and considering all I've given the club and all the club has given me, I would hope to be appreciated, respected and fondly remembered just as I would appreciate, respect and fondly remember Arsenal and I think this will be the case for the majority of the fans anyway, so it's all good. You can never please everyone anyhow.
But if I were Guardiola, I wouldn't get rid of Yaya Toure! That'd be a mistake! So if somehow Yaya is offered in the deal somewhere, Gunners must take advantage and bring him to London.
Agh, sorry, from Monaco! He was in shakhtar the year before. But anyway he was not a known and stablished player, and he had great performances since the start, so it shows Wenger could make a terrific team signing promising players, he only needs to top it with 1 or 2 important signings of veteran (not necessarily old) players.
It wasn't Shakhtar bro. It was another Ukranian club, Metalurg, I think... smaller club. And it wasn't the year before cuz before Monaco, he played for Olympiakos where he also impressed the hell out of everyone. Basically everywhere he's been, he's been great including Barca. Now whoever takes him (assuming Barca are getting rid of him which would be a mistake), will benefit again as all his previous clubs have.
But anyway, I see your point.

You just had the details which are minor and not really important a little mixed up.
