Arsenal Thread

How can it take 2-3 days to sort out - either we did it on time. Or we didn't and if we didn't was it allowed?!

How the fuck does it take 3 days to determine that?!! - It can take one fucking person 30mins max to see if it is ok!

Just makes this whole situation that much more fucking ridiculous!!

Was he injured or something? All I know is that he is rested from the Russian winter break, so that would take less than a month for him to gain back his fitness.
 
He'll start with FA Cup matches and then will come to premiership. He'll need some time to adapt. Wenger had said previously that it'll take some time for him to adapt. Apparently Arshavin has even spent a fortune by giving money to Zenit to join Arsenal. Guy really looks committed...

SINCE david dean left. arsenal cant string a deal properly with anyone anymore. took us ages to get nasri in for example.

arsenal need dean back. he use to sort out transfers pretty easily. you would always have teh confident that when dean was in charge, any deal where arsenal and the club agree on a fee, the transfer was all done and dusted in no time.

now it seems we have a bunch of headless chickens running the show:BOP:

But think about how Wenger even let Silvestre play when he obviously wasn't ready. Why not Arsha? We need his talent badly.

On another note two things that strike me about Arshavin (aside from his obvious footballing talent)

- his willingness to fly a private jet to England, stand around in the snow all day and take a large wage cut to ensure a move to the club suggest to me that he's genuinely committed to joining Arsenal

- Reading on the internet he seems like a quiet, likeable person, gives his all on the pitch and off it spends alot of time with his wife and two little kids - rather than getting drunk, crashing cars and other such antics that we are used to seeing from some other premier league footballers.

All in all very excited if we get him!

Just a question, how will arshavin play both CMF and DMF? Arsenal did need that, so he will play CB, CMF, DMF? F*** yeah, Go for it Arsene...

Woohoo! Finally it's over, and hopefully he'll do well and prove some of his doubters wrong.

Shame he's not fit, but seriously you cant lose to Tottenham and I imagine Keane will be in the mood for proving a point to a few people.

This Deal took along time because of Zenit and them being greedy fuckers.

Nothing to do with David Dean being at arsenal or not.
 
well Arshavin went to Dubai only to train w/ the team he wanted to be fit encase he came to Arsenal so he`s probably 50/50 to make an appearances 75th minute maybe.
 
bbc said if he finally transfers to the Arsenal he'll play/ or be ready to play with Spurs.

Even if still missing a DMF, that looks a promising attack for the nest season. IF Ade and Fab stay, and for the way that you are playing and the way Barcelona is atm, fab may go home and ade to somewhere else.
