Arsenal Thread

I dont think he'll go to Juve, i dont think Wenger will make this mistake of leaving him out on some competition. Becoz we are in a serious need of a good and experienced DMF. It'll take some high quality crack for Wenger to lose out on the competition.

Gallas is weak to some extent but then the saves he made last season against some Top teams, still gives me some hopes. Lets see, hes injured now, i hope Toure and Silvestre play against United on 8th. For Stoke, Djourou can play i guess.

But frankly, Toure is the only and only Best Centre-Back we got rite now!! i dont think anyone should disagree with this.

2-0 and Van Persie red carded. Is this some jinx that we are losing to the newly promoted teams??....1st Hull and now Stoke.

I dunno, we are for sure going to lose against United on 8th. and CL cant say anything.

I always see on Arsenal official website that---bet 5/1 for 20 pounds that RVP or 6/1 that Ade scores 1st goal.

But now i think there should be bets that 5/1 that Wenger's speech will be about Quality shit, 6/1 that it'll be about Experience Shit and 2/1 that we dont need any player coz we got fucking kids.

Not to worry. This team is still so young. Let them blossom......

Then all of them can fuck off to Barcelona or Madrid.

Hoping Wenger gets some of the stick he deserves.

I hate this....seriously...i hate this.....frickin Yids beat Liverpool. Man this is real shit!!! I thot even if we dont win anything...i might celebrate their relegation....but i guess there might be some different plans.

I said it before and im saying it again, you are turning your professional team into an academy and only smart experienced players/teams win titles.

exactly why i want wenger to get sacked or a russian billionaire to flog some money into the club so we can BUY PLAYERS.

hey mate, migth as well get fabrega's name printed on your barca shirt as he will most def be a barca player next season

You lot remind me of what Clough did at Forest just before they got relegated. He just seemed obsessed with making the youngest squad possible. Maybe in the hope that he'd have the same team for 10-12 years.

Whoever said "you cant win anything with kids" is absolutely living in a shithole all this while cause United did it before.Arsenal is still a top team but the mentality of winning and grinding out results are just not there yet.If you lot keep the team together next season, you might actually win something...thats a longshot because I heard a certain young spanish playmaker has already said he would bail out if you lot dont start winning titles.Bummer.

damn shame reading the rumors of fabregas refusing the contract!! Strange dunno what's Wenger's philosophy... strange you guys are playing hot and cold one match you guys will blow away the opposition with 4-0 3-0 scorelines but next game you guys will play below par!!

Well then can you post the team that, you say, won United something? I can 100% guarantee you they didn't start a game with an average age of 20/20,5 years old and had a Direct player and a leader for, at least, the midfield if not all the areas, attack, mid and defense. But, i repeat, can you post the squad your talking about?

The solution to all the problems is remove the Yellow Away jersey. Its been Unlucky since the beginning. Stoke, Dynamo Kviv, Sunderland and some others. Except West Ham where they were good in yellow.

Apart from Clichy no one has done anything this season. Fabregas has been poor, Denilson is not good enough as he does not close players down and ain't strong enough, the midfield is so fucking spacious, Adebayor is a 1 in 3 man, If Van Persie is not scoring his doing nothing much, all our center backs are playing shit, Walcott just ain't consistent enough, he has to learn to dribble (like Messi), Alumni has been good up till the last couple of games (his v.good at 1 on 1), players like Vela who showed huge potential in Spain and in preseason need to be given a chance, Song is too slow or dopey, Diaby has lots of potential but he is not match fit yet.

The biggest mistake last season was letting our best player FLAMINI go. That's why Fabregas and the center backs are playing so shit. mind you we still needed a center back and center mid to strengthen.

Sorry for the late reply mate, its a bit off topic to reply here but here it goes.

In 1995, Sir Alex Ferguson sold Paul Ince, Andrei Kanchelskis and Mark Hughes and replaced them with players from our youth team, including David Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Paul Scholes. After the club's 3–1 defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day of the 1995–96 season, television pundit Alan Hansen famously declared "you'll never win anything with kids." The new players, several of whom quickly became regular internationals for England, responded well and, buoyed by Cantona's return in October 1995, United became the first English club had won the double twice, a feat that would be nicknamed the "Double Double".

his current contract is to 2014

Well thats not Much of a teen squad, it sure has some kids in it but lets just see, this was yesterdays Arsenal first team:

Manuel Almunia 31
Bacary Sagna 25
Kolo Toure 27
Mikael Silvestre 31
Gael Clichy 23
Alexandre Song 21
Denilson 20
Cesc Fabregas 21
Abou Diaby 22
Emmanuel Adebayor 24
Nicklas Bendtner 20

Substitutes
Lukasz Fabianski 23
Carlos Vela 19
Aaron Ramsey 17
Johan Djourou 21
Theo Walcott 19
Robin Van Persie 25
Samir Nasri 21

Average age of this team: 22,7

Even if thats not the best team that Arsenal can use, this won't win Arsenal a Premier League title, but i don't like to speak of something i "hope" that can change, we'll see during this weeks CL games and next week against ManU.
