Arsenal Thread

but how has does he have any sort of clue about what's going on at Arsenal though?

he doesnt, he is full of shit.

He was harping on about Moyes bad training methods at beginning of season as well - bloke cant keep his trap shut. He has had a pop at Spurs before as well, I think when Harry was in charge of us.

If he is such a genius, why isnt he coaching the best players in world right now?

These 2 guys and a girl sat on the aisle next to me. They look dodgy and they started a fight ok the people on the other side of the aisle. Shocking man. Killed the mood. Am at the game

Sanogo and the Ox were massive today, both deserved to get on the score sheet. I like the look of Sanogo, he definitely has potential.

Pretty much agree with Roy Keane's comments on ITV. Arsenal need to take a look at themselves. Celebrating because they beat a Championship club and fighting it out for the 'fourth place cup' each season.

yeah we shouldn't have celebrated getting to the FA cup final  it's a stupid comment imo.

It is football, the ups and downs. We beat a team that are the FA cup holders, that beat 3 premierleague teams including Man City to get to the Semi's.

Of course we should celebrate this, of course we should celebrate getting into the champions league if we get 4th this year.

We should be doing better, no doubt, but if you don't celebrate these wins, then the soul of football is nothing at all. Arsenal supporters/players can't celebrate anything until they win something again? does that go for all clubs that are not winning anything?

Hopefully this can somehow kick start us to the end of the season.

Lol, that's ridiculous. If we can't even celebrate reaching a cup final, what can we celebrate?

Hull conceded 3 goals to a 3rd Division team. We surely have to win this now, even if confidence isn't our strong suit right now.

Keane's comments were stupid - under those circumstances (grabbing a late equaliser and winning on penalties) any team would be celebrating.

Arsenal sure has a lot of problems - our performance looked gutless again until late in the game and we only looked dangerous when we started hoofing the ball up the field for the likes of Sanogo, Giroud and Mertesacker. That speaks volumes about the way our team is set out to attack. Too many passes, not enough directness. But when we were desperate and started hurling in all those long balls, Wigan suddenly looked very troubled at the back.

We have an attitude problem with some players too. Not only some of them who were hiding and shying away. Podolski was disgraceful - being subbed while we were losing and he went out walking. Walking!
I think he might be off in the summer.

Vermaelen had a nightmare against Everton but was much better this time around, much more positive. Hats off to him, Sagna, Mertesacker and Fabianski.

If Fabianski gets rid of the jitters and stays, he will bench Szczesny. There used to be some comments about how he was outstanding in training but couldn't handle the pressure on important matches.
Vermaelen went out of his way to praise him by saying he should be playing. Wonder what Szczesny thinks of it, but the truth is that Fabianski looks the best keeper at the club now. More focused and calm. Less selfies, more professionalism.

Anyway now we have that uphill battle in the Prem to get back to 4th. West Ham's up next!

Szcz for me has been great this season, much much more positives than negatives for me. Fabianski has played well but i remember many more games where Szcz played really well and saved us with great saves this season. Its easy to forget with how the season has heen the last couple of months.

The Wigan game is that curse we seem to have where the other team that doesnt do much seems to get all of the praise and we are made out to have done nothing and played super shit.

We should be doing much mich better, but he truth is Wigan had hardly any chances and we were much the better team. Some people make out that Wigan deserved to win , when that clearly wasnt the case.

For me our low confidence is like a cancer at the moment, i am hoping that this win lifts us a bit for the coming games.

But for me as i have said before this team is far from shit, mentally and physically (injuries) we are strugglin at the moment, but i fully expect with a few additions in the summer this team to really kick on.

I hope Wenger stays. He's part of the fabric of the PL and it'd be too soon after Ferguson leaving for him to go.

Oh right! When Wenger loses he is a stupid manager and he have to leave but then he reach the final of the FA Cup and he is the best. ARSENAL FANS LOGIC!
Come on, Wenger doesn't win a trophy "since 1920" and you want he stay?

Mou is write, Wenger is a specialist in failure...

I so love your posts miguell!

Miguell is right though, Wenger has to go now. He offers nothing anymore.

He's mentality week as well, the players don't trust him I dont think.

Pretty sideways passing football and nothing else.

Thanks! :D But actually I am not a Man. City fan. I am just a EPL fan in general because my father works in Barclays here in Portugal (just kidding). I am a EPL fan because i love football, and everyone who loves football loves EPL, right? Anyway, I have no preference about EPL teams (i just hate Wenger).
