Arsenal Thread

Stekelenberg isn't that great tbh. Calamitous!

I agree with that, but rentboy was just giving an example i think. Clubs like Everton, QPR, Sunderland, Spurs, Newcastle, Swansea (and those are the first that come to mind) have all considerbaly better GK's than Arsenal. That is not logic.

very true.

Wenger has refused to address the issue for many years and Ferguson has done with midfield at Man Utd.

only difference is Man Utd fan cant really complain as last season was first in very long time that they didnt win silverware.

Arsenal havent won anything for too long. they are 2nd biggest club in the league now and this isnt right for Arsenal supporter who has to pay most for season ticket and match day experience

I still just can't understand how people can critisize Wenger. You say Arsenal are the 2nd biggest club in the league and they don't win silverware. This is true. But they are the 2nd best team in the league that isn't run by a sugar daddy.

It really isn't hard to understand. Arsenal cannot have a comparable squad to Chelsea and City and still hope to exist in 2 seasons time. It really is that simple.

Unless someone with an equally loose wallet comes in, Arsenal represent the best you can do in England without a sugar daddy. Fin.

I think ppl are bothersome the fact they want Arsenal to join in and bring in top players to the club for the sake of the league and arsene doesn't budge ....

With what money? If you want a front line of Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko and Aguero, you need to have the £130m odd to buy them.

Not just sad , but the reality! "We really Do need our Arsenal back"

These players grab walking and allowing Reading to move the ball w/o pressurizing ! 1st half was in disarray  Looking at the bench you have Giroud and reserve players only. Wenger needs to light some spark to these walking dead zombies !

* Reading score 4 more, away support gets their monies back

If you do lose tonight it won't matter because everyone will be happy again next may when arsenal win the top 4 cup

Wow!

Fergie's control is absolute. Ensuring that Kolscielny stayed on despite the clear second yellow, and thereby tackling a player at the death allowing Walcott to score. Now some of those Arsenal players will be a little more tired for Saturday. He rules it all.

Joking aside, this is awesome.

I've been watching football for a while now and I've never seen anything like this :D
You have to question why you go down 0-4 in the first place. But credit to the players who fought well to come back.

CMON ARSENAL! Now we have to win this cup, after going through so much trouble to stay in the competition!

For me the defining moment was Jenkinson believing in it till the end and smashing home the 4th goal, because although the ball crossed the line, the referee wasn't going to give that!

And the funniest moment, one for football's folclore: Giroud and Coquelin thought the game ended 4-4 and there would be a replay at the Emirates, so they threw their shirts to the supporters... only to ask for them back :LMAO:

Seems this will be among the most memorable matches of the year. Yesterdat i saw the 4-0 post by Bebo and i meant to post something along the line of:

'don't worry, in a couple of weeks Arsenal will win against Spurs with 4 or 5 goals and will have enough confidence for the rest of the season'.

Lets hope this is a new start for Marouane Chamakh, because he is such a good player...he was great with Bordeaux and not only in France. He was absolutely fantastic in the CL too.

I wonder how jonney lived that match, maybe he had a heart attack when Arsenal were 4-0 down and the poor guy never lived to see the come-back or else he went to Wenger's house and kidnapped his wife and daughter....

All jokes aside: well done Arsenal, great come back.
