I think after everything that has gone on, he is pretty much going, but I don't have a clue.

If he goes we have to get a replacement, that is very evident. so Wenger may need to sign somebody before he sells him? So it might not happen until the last day of the transfer deadline?

Who knows? I'm tired of second guessing Wenger, this summer has drained all of the energy out of me :))

Even the most optimistic of Arsenal fans are starting to realise that the wheels are coming off, aren't they?

From what I heard Nasri was the best Arsenal player? Maybe it's better to get rid of 2 useless players and pay him what he's asking? :P
I didn't watch the match, but I'm not surprised with the scoreline. With that amount of injuries, suspensions and lack of reinforcements to what was already a thin squad, I don't expect to beat any of the big clubs, not even at home.

We're doomed with bad luck with injuries and all, but Wenger is not making it any easier for himself.

The chants of "spend some fucking money" don't even seem to apply to Wenger anymore. Because when he does break the club's record fee, is to bring in 17-year-old Ox... Well, since we spent £15m on the kid, at least fucking use him!! Fucks sake!

What good it does to us spending £15m on someone who's not ready, and also keeping other £35m in the bank? As Arseblog said, £35m are not great at playing Centre Half, you know!

If you try to put your finger on it, what was really costly to us? To me it looked like it was playing youngsters. When you play inexperienced personnel, it comes with a fucking price, doesn't it? Frimpong got sent off on his Prem debut, and Ignasi Miquel kicked that ball to Ramsey's face! I couldn't believe it when I saw the highlights. It was bad luck, BUT it also came from a nervy, inexperienced defender. What the hell was he doing trying to clear that ball in that direction?

But once again, Miquel and Frimp are the least guilty in this. They, along with Jenkinson, are being thrown in the fire thanks to Wenger's incompetence to deal with summer dealings.

Wenger cannot get into his stubborn head that we need experience to throw into the mix. Youth and experience! But the youth bit was out of our "to do list" long ago!
If Wenger can't see what we need, he's no good to Arsenal anymore, and I'm afraid he will have to go.

I can't see us signing anyone else until September. We will have to incorporate Gunnersaurus and have Ivan Gazidis replace him :P

@Ronaldinho_23 - I'm Pole and I'd like to see everyone write in Polish, that would've been hell of a fun! :D I would really like to learn Spanish in the future, but now I don't have any time, because I study English Philology, but when I will have some free time after my licenciate, I will certainly try to learn this beautiful Spanish language. I love to learn languages! :)

back on topic. i cant see wenger buying anyone this transfer window. think thats all where going to get. the moneyf rom nasri and fab will go in the boards pockets.

i wished a billionaire bought arsenal because this spend less and develop talent doesnt work in the day and age.

All about the richest club now. If City win the league, that basically nails it down as a fact that the more money u throw at a club, the more chances of success.

You just got that? :? The same can be said about Bolton with respect to Arsenal and any team in any league. They can't afford a van Persie or Nasri. They also can't get a young talent because he would prefer a move to Arsenal for the club's history and salary they are going to pay him. The richest always win. It's been like this for a while now. Sure Barcelona play great football, but without money, they are nothing. Palermo and Udinese played great football in Serie A and it got them as far as the EL. They eventually sold their best players to Barcelona, PSG,...

Not true, City didn´t won nothing yet.. + there was many results when small teams beat big teams on paper..

heck Spearing outplayed some City players on LFC home win previous season..

Don´t make quick statements before City actually won something with this style of "buying succes"

also some Bundesliga fans would tell you the same, in that league anything can happend..

in Spain it´s other.. almost a new Old firm..

city won FA cup last season and they will probably win the league this season. could they do this with no money?

also why is gervinho only banned for 3 games instead of 4? his appeal was denied so they add an extra 1 game ban? like rio last season.

They only add the extra game if you play for United. It's pretty standard. It's like getting reds in friendlies, missing a drugs test or using foul and abusive language.

It all weighs up though you get an extra 5 minutes at the end of every game, swings and roundabouts and all that :PP

yeah, but CUP is no LEAGUE.. in cup there can anything happen..Stoke was in that final as well ;)

If you consider the reason for Wenger's suspension in the first place, it's all the more enerving. To maintain a laughable red card for the player (RVP) and extend a ban for ridiculous reasons. C'mon, we've seen other suspended managers talking on mobile phones. Ridiculous and corrupt institution.

Will be tough this Wednesday. I reckon Wenger won't even go to the stadium. If he stays home watching it on telly, can he still call Primorac with instructions? Or will UEFA send "probation officers" to watch him the whole time, even when he goes for a piss?

BTW, the situation at Arsenal is tense as one can ever remember. Wenger tries to play it down, saying "not all is doom and gloom", but there were Arsenal fans fighting between themselves at the Emirates last Saturday! My mate was there and told me this. The stewards had to intervene and all. Never seen this... Tough times indeed!
