Full credit to Eastmond. I think it's probably fair to say that he was behind Coquelin and Frimpong in most people's eyes for a DMF role but he really showed up and grabbed his chance magnificently.

Who knows, maybe Merida will prove to be the one to soften the blow when Cesc does pack his bags? Ramsey needs to be in the manager's thoughts for a run in the first eleven now. His stamina is the only question mark in my book, he did look knackered for the last few minutes, but that will come with playing time. If Diaby and Denlison are worth a run then Ramsey must be.
 
Merida looks decent but I wouldn't compare him to Fabregas. Ramsey is more likely to replace Cesc. Wheres Wilshere? I hope he gets picked to play in the middle rather than outwide on the left.

its funny how ramsey's shaping up to be a replacement for fabregas, isnt he only 21 or 22? its true though he'll probably be gone in a few years and ramsey will hopefully for you guys be able to take that role.
 
i was talking about fabregas. usually you sell a player after his prime if you can help it. everybody's so young at arsenal they get sold when they're just coming into it.

Yeah it was a great game but could have been more. No wonder AW was furious at times. Eduardo was shocking in front of goal! It could have been at least 5 today.

Even though I'm happy with the result I still want to point out what an absolute PRICK that ref was. Bentley intentionally put a hand to the ball, got away with it. A minute later he tries to snap Vermaelen's leg and still got away with it! Vermaelen on the other hand, made a perfectly timed tackle to win the ball and got a yellow, probably his first foul in the entire game! I say fuck that :MAD:
 
well, It was pretty good , but DUDU had 2 :CONFUSE: 1 on 1 chances. Fab looked like a running back dodging and weaving from 50 yard to put it past the keeper very embarrassing or Brilliant ;) . Arshhh was quiet Song was a beast in the middle.Vermaelen was the braveheart at the back.Alumnia made a meal out of a save that went right to him.Gallas was shaky ,but stood his ground. Van Persie 1st goal was brilliant ,but Fab:BOP: out shone him a 1 minute later. I will have a superb weekend thank you to the Arsenal for this....2nd on top until MUTD plays...:SMUG:
 
I notice 1 thing after the corner once we got the ball we passed it back and held on to it until our backs came back then we pass it up again I don`t remember ever seeing that before does anyone agree? The part clichy and Song was passing the ball to each other on the half way line.
