Arsenal Thread

I was at the game and you boys were quiet, one of the quiestest away support we have had this season!

This is it - I went to the middlesborough game the other day and our supporters never stopped singing.

I think it seems less because we sing less altogether. There are usually groups dotted around the stadium. I think this is why it doesn't sound as effective on TV aswell.

Just my thoughts :DD

I guess that Le Prof. will invest this summer. Now how much, remains to be seen. He's a man with immense knowledge about the game, and he knows what he needs exactly. A good example will be Dudu (WHAT A FINISHER!!) I guess it's because Arsene has already got a superb team operating all over the park, and one that plays great great football, till they reach the penalty box that is. Eduardo's purchase seemes more like the 'final piece in the jigsaw', as senor Benitez likes to say. Pass the opponents off the park, get the ball to the box, supply Dudu, and this man can really finish!!

So i guess it'll come down more to his requirements, and the system he intends to use next term. In my humble opinion though, Le Prof. could really use some experienced players all over the park, specially in defence. Maybe someone like Sergio Ramos would fit in the Arsenal stlye of play, but it's just wishful thinking. Up-front, i guess another clinical finisher, just to get that net to shake after the brilliant build-up play by the already hugely talented mid-field engine. A Luca Toni maybe?

Just my thoughts though, as someone mentioned above :DD

We Seriously need 2 wingers-both left & right. and we also need an AMF. I dont think Fabregas has a replacement. or Maybe Denilson should be given some 1st team football. and Striker, ofcourse we surely need one or two. Not Stars, But someone like DuDu will be good. We also need to buy a good centre-back, or else get some first team football for Djourou and Song.

Ben Arfa could be coming to us...we need someone to play wide left.

Someone mentioned we have no replacement for Fabregas well we have a youngster called Fran Merida who some say will be even better than Cesc!! He will be pushing for a place next season. Up front we have Carlos Vela to come back, who can play centre and wide left.

The future at Arsenal looks very bright indeed.

Oh yeah i forgot about Fran Merida!! But i dont want him to be turning out like Bendtner. Well ofcourse both need some experience. We'll give them sometime. And Carlos Vela will be back so we'll have 4 strikers except Dudu. And if we buy some striker in the summer, maybe we'll end up with 6 strikers at the end of next season(including Dudu).

Well in this case, all I could hear on the tele were the Liverpool fans, particularly after Kuyts goal when absolutley nothing came from the Gooners.

We need to win tomorrow, nothing less, we have to put the pressure on Man U, call me crazy but for me, tomorrow is the biggest game of the season so far. We lose or draw tomorrow then it think we can start thinking about next year, even in CL.

Apparantly some Arsenal fans are saying they're not bothered about the league and the CL is the one they want?

well our race is over lets get 2nd spot if manutd win it..and let everton get 4th spot to bring a new look into matters

Liverpool and Everton at most will get 78 or 75pts at best...to say we will be 4th only losing 2 games is quite bold from your end

We really lost the plot had a good run but Wenger system lack quality from the bench. A 100% starting 11 is not happening in this day in age. Bendtner lack of confidence is shocking 1 thing Im happy w/ is Walcott growth

To be fair i think its due to him playing so many matches consistently and being tired, you could see that near the end of the game Arsenal legs just faded and your clear favorites for Tuesdays game.

I think it might go to penalties on Tuesday. Arsenal always look as though they are gonna score. They might be on a bad run in the league with just the 1 win 7 but on their day they’re as good as anybody. They’ll want it just as bad as us.

good match today a tad comical in the hostel because of jeers made by friends turned foes for the 90 minutes!! But good game anyway!!
