I can't believe the FA are looking into the incident where Lehmann throw the ball of Phillips back. FFS what about Phillips who kept kicking Lehmann everytime there was a corner for Southampton. No dought Lehmann will recieve some sort of ban and fine.

Hmm he's fitting right into the arse.

Half way thru his first season and he's getting dragged up before the FA for the 2nd time.

Lets see if they do anything to Phillips. He blatantly stamped on Lehmanns foot in the first half and ref never saw it. I was sitting 10 yards away. Phillips is a disgrace.

Jens went ott at the end. I think that abroad goalies get much more protection and over here less so. I feel he has adapted well but still has to realise that he is not going to get a foul even time a forward touches him.

Ive not seen it yet, I was just jesting zico.

Lehman does kick off easy though, he was known for that at Dortmund, but your right, no matter ehat team he plays for the refs dont protect keepers as much over here.

He's a big improvement on Seaman though.

That, my friend is the understatement of the year. I thought that Seaman had lost it, but it wasn't until I saw Lehmann that I realised how bad Seaman had become.

Man City would be doing well to replace him in January.

haha I know but you never know with some gooners, they wont have a bad word said about him.

Ive seen city play quite a few times and he's feckin useless.

They we're gonna go for dudek before Kirkland got injured.

Anyway according to Sky, Lehman has defo been reported.

I think its invitable that Lehmann will get done for it and I don't have any problems with that.

Sky picked up the Phillips incident though so it will be interesting to see what the FA do.

Going back to Seaman, he is an Arsenal legend but he should have left in 2002 after the double. Last season he was a joke and its embarassing to see such a legend making a complete knob of himself just because he wanted to play on for another couple of years. Its not as if he needs to dosh is it?

This thing with video evidence is getting daft, if both incidents we're recorded then why is only one beeing pick up on??

Its just stupid, and then the fuckwits at the FA come down hard on managers when they complain. Unbelievable!

I hate seeing players end up like Seaman, surely they dont need the money and it ruins their rep cos no matter who you are your only as good as ya last game, I heard he could've stayed on at arsenal and coached, surely that wouldve been better.

Apparently he was offered a player-coach role but was to be told he would only be the number 2. He didn't want to be the number 2 so he was off. That would have been my cue to say "ok, I have had a great career but thats it, finish". He could have been our coach then, but apprently the role is open for him when he finishes playing. Probably see him back in 10 years then when he's hung up his gloves at Leigh RMI.

Yeah I feel really sorry for him, every week he seems to be making shocking mistakes for City. Man City would be better off givin some young kid a change in goal. You should have retired on a high Seamo.

thats the mistake soo many players make, play for WAY too long, and by the time next season rolls around, they end up saying "i should have done this a long time ago, but i will now leave the game for the younger stars" ;)

I think Lee Dixon done the best thing by retiring from Arsenal on a high. At least there not laughing at him every week like poor Dave Seaman. :(

well... let's just say he brought misery upon himself, when he could have retired on a high, he decided he one more shot ... - wait, at WHAT?! - what was the point of going from the gunners to citeh?

oh, NO REASON WHATSOEVER

well he obviously still enjoys playing and wants to hang onto that for as long as possible. i'm sure everyone of us would do the same thing.

I just laugh when he starts going
"Sven knows me number if they're ever in trouble and they need me. HE HE HE!!"
Is it just me, or would Seamo make a really great Santa Claus?

The thing with Dave Seaman is, he's never recovered from that chip by Ronaldinho in the World Cup 2002. :l

Peter Shilton went to play in his fiftey's so theres plenty of time left for big Dave.It is sad though to see a Legend like him doing so shit

Great game, highlight was when the announcement came out that the attendance was a club record and the gooners started singing, you only come to see the Arsenal

A big weekend for the goons as they set out to become the first team since Rovers 1886 to win the FA cup three times in a row.

I think leeds will give you tougher time than your last two visits but its difficult to see anything but an Arsenal win.............

Row J directly behind the goal, right next to the Saints fans.

Yeah same here, some proper loonies. One of the blokes a couple of rows down was having a rude gesture contest with a saints fan and then asked for the blokes number so they could meet for a tear up. Too bloody wierd.

I don't think it will be tough Vann, I mean we always hammer Leeds at Ellend Road, and if they play like they did against Wolves, it could get into double figures. ;)
