Yeah. I can't wait until we walk all over Milan and Juventus. ;)
Milan have arleady beaten United once this year, and are the CL holders from 2 years ago.... I wouldnt be too proud of myself if i were you. Juve have conceded 1 goal, and Milan took top spot of their group without hesitations...

Sarcasm is a wonderful thing. ;)

My friend here in NY is heading to Highbury in February for the Crystal Palace game, all expenses paid, VIP box, dinner with Wenger, David Dein and Peter Hill-Wood afterwards. BASTARD!!!!!!

damn shame, henry had the chance to finish the game.

fair play to chelsea they gave us a good game.

I was pleased with Alumina.

Personally I felt Wenger took way too long to bring van persie on, he looked sharp and dangerous, clichy also seemed to come on and add extra urgency too, if the both of them came a few minutes early I think we might have edged it.

And what can we say about boy wonder, fabergas is just fantastic, the move he was involved in that could have led to the winner was beautiful to watch, and lets not forget flamini the guy worked and worked and played some nice decent football.

Set piece defending is the one and only problem Arsenal are failing at, I think wenger needs to watch some classic Arsenal games when people like Tony Adams, Bould, Dixon and Winterburn were their, maybe ring up george graham or something, this is becoming a VERY serious problem and as seen in the Champions League could be the nail on the coffin in Europe.

Henrys interview on Sky was pure class, something like this....' I tend not to score in big games, so I take it this was a small game.....' :)

Set Piece defending is indeed the big problem here. And it was almost embarassing this time. It's such a shame that 2 set pieces brought Chelsea the goals. Especially after seeing Strachan's analyses on the BBC last night I can only say the defending was awful on both goals.

I believe we deserved the win but I can live with a draw.

I was happy with how we played overall and could of nicked the win at the end. Shame we couldn't hold on to each of our leads but I am not unhappy with a draw. 5 points is do-able. I loved the way we opened them up for Henry's hat trick chance, shame it didn't go in :(.

Talking of Henry, he never scores in the big games does he? ;)

That was the kind of game the Premiership was made for, edge of the seat bizniz from start to finish.

Set pieces are truly our Achillies heel, both offensive and defensive. Both goals could and probably should have been prevented, but thats not to take anything away from Terry's which was quality especially from a defender (does he remind anyone else of Tony Adams?).

Most encouraging was the commitment shown by the players right from the off, they were all up for it, long gone was the sluggish lumbering shown in the Liverpool game. The message was clear, 'You've never won in this league at Highbury, and you never f*ckin will if we have anything to say about it.'

People who wrote off Henry as being absent in big games were tucking into a hearty slice of humble pie after a commanding display and a goal of sheer genius in the 2nd minute. If only he'd scored that last ditch effort to complete his hatrick. Fabregas and Flamini survived their baptism of fire and combatted well with a far more experinced/expensive Chelski midfield. Lampard was absent save for one stinging drive at Almunia. Robben muffled, Duff ineffectual, their greatest threat came from set pieces.

Should have had a penalty late on, but that would have perhaps been unfair to a very well balanced game between to surprisingly sporting sides. There was a distinct lack of hostility and no flare ups during the match, and afterward it was all respectful hugs and handshakes between the two sides; nice to see after less savoury encounters with other teams.

The underlying feeling afterwards was that Arsenal could have taken all 3 points, we created more in the second half and were more adventurous until the final whistle. A draw was probaly fair in the end, but we more than coped without Vieria, we competed and could well have won in the end. Encouraging display all round.

Ah fuck off. If he played for United you'd be praising his nutsack. awol in big games, yeah, whatever.

Didnt ANYONE see the little thing they showed about a month ago on Football Focus ( I think it was football Focus ) about who Henry scores against. Against Man Utd, Chelsea, and Liverpool his record was 2 goals in 3 matches. Against the rest of the premiership it was still 2 goals in 3 matches. One would expect that he would have a slightly poorer record against the top three but it wasnt so. Goes to show that you lot chat shit.

The stats speak for themselves.

Do you really think I could give a shit about who Henry scores and doesn't score against? At the end of the day its about your team winning and cups being hoisted over your captains head and a lot of that has been happening at Arsenal lately so as an Arsenal fan I'm happy. You come in here with your pathetic little arguments about this and about that, nitpicking at irrelevant little things trying to get at Arsenal fans. Henry is one of the best elite players in the world, you know it and you just can't take it that he's not on your team. Go into your own thread and chat about Ronaldos stepovers and leave us alone.

yo guys whats everyone make of all the talk with Lauren set to leave and Edu practically got one foot in Spain, is this sad or what?????

I am really impressed with Laurens performance these last few weeks, and Edu has his chance to get first team for more or less the whole season with Gilberto out, but he wants to leave :(

Wengers comments clearly show he's ready to offload him, that leaves the youngsters to partner Vieira but their far to young to play a whole season of first team action.

And rumours off a young italian 17 yr old keeper who is apparently amazing in goal.

I cant believe Edu's attitude.I remember Arsenal went thru a lot to sign him from Corinthians and this is how he repay you lot? Called up to play for brasil and now his head has been bloated ever since.I mean,he is dispensable and hes not as good as he think he is.Barcelona,Madrid and Valencia??? He'd warm the bench for sure, for sure.I heard that Man United wants him too, which I find pure bullocks speculation. He aint shite, just a two bit, regular brasilian without the magic just like kleberson.

If Edu doesn't sign a new deal (which is good deal so I hear) before Jan then he will be frozen out by Wenger and rightly so, just like Wiltord. How can he be committed to us in the coming months when all he can do is mouth off about joining Barca or Real? He was a nobody when he joined us and like lots of players before him Wenger helped him become a good player.

Forget all that shit above comparing him to Kleberson, wtf? Edu has actually made a impact on the English game, scoring many important goals and putting plenty of decent performances, many of which were last season.

At the end of the day lets have players in the squad who want to play for Arsenal, if Edu wants out then let him go.

As for Lauren, we will have to wait and see on that one. But that may explain Wenger trying to get Trabelsi in over the summer. Anyway Hoyte is coming through and looks like a decent player so we should be alright if Ralph leaves.

Ralph has publicly stated that he wants to stay;

Its natural for speculation to arise when a player approaches the end of his contract, the fact that he has been linked with Real is just a testiment to how well he has played in recent years. I think we'd be in trouble if he left. As good as Hoyte is, Ralph has become one of the best right backs in the league, its him and G. Neville for me.

He's one of those player who is probably a more natural mid-fielder, but is adaptable and strong enough to play a defensive role. I saw one of his first goals against Sparta Prague in the Champions League a few years ago and thought he was gonna be a replacement for Parlour! (as he was playing in the middle of the park).

Edu on the other hand is blatantly on his way, which I think is a real shame. After a few nothing years he's finally living up to his price tag, but to be honest I dont think you can blame him for wanting to go to Spain. I dont believe in chastising a player just because he wants to leave your club if he's only been their a few years, especially if he's really an auxillary player. He's gone about it the right way, publiclly announcing his intent in December so we can get some £ for him instead of sneaking off for a Bosman in the summer. I really like him as a player and Id rather he stayed, but it might even be better if we sold him and used the money to buy Javier Mascherano

Now you're talking my son!!! What a monster of a player Masherano is. He runs things in the middle at River.

yes but realistically who will replace him???

specially such a crucial time of the year, the run in is the most imortant part of the year.
