The prospect of Moreientes makes me druel. Imagine Henry and Mori up front. What a partnership. Also the fact we have Reyes too we could rotate between the two.

Henry
Reyes
Morientes
Aliadiere
Bergkamp

not bad if it happens!

Morientus is going Chelsea I think its 90pre cent done deal.

I didnt think Arsenal would have the coffers for such a purchase, although Kanu will most likely be gone, but for how much?????

Wiltords gone, so I think the story was quite true that Arsenal would want to bolster the strike force, Henry, Reyes and Iceman.

Having said that Arsenal did well in the league and got a lot of tv money too, I think income excluding gate reciepts was something like £50Million or something. same as Man Utd I think, it was in my local paper.

Yesterday Chelsea I think made a big of about 16 million euros but today we made a 23 million bid which could swing him towards the Arsenal. Who knows.

They are also linked with Trezeguet who would be the better deal only beacause they are slightly similar players and Trez is friends with Henry.

I think Morientes would be perfect addition to Arsenal though as it will really signify the club going forward.

Kanu and Wiltord will leave on a free, although Wenger hinted that Kanu may stay, but I'm not sure why.

Lets hope he doesn't stay, he's a waste of space who only started looking interested again when it was his last year of his contract.

Check out horseface's comment, stupid prat needs a slap across the face.........

"Our manager Sir Alex did well to congratulate Arsenal on their championship win this year," explained van Nistelrooy.

"That's the way you should do things. But it's not what Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger did. I was disappointed with him when we won the title.

"Wenger said that the best team in England had not won it. That is nonsense, absolute bull****.

"A real top coach would always congratulate their opponents on their success."

Hes a right jealous fuck.

well if its true that wenger said this, that the best team had not won, who is the jealous fuck? Ruud is absolutley right if all of this is true.... A real man recognizes the sucess of another

Thats fine but who are we gonna buy?

Van Persie will be good but I think we need a centre back, if only just for cover.

Maybe a class centre forward too to act as cover for Henry, Reyes, Bergy

Premiership champions Arsenal are planning an audacious swoop for Brazilian wonderkid Kaka.

The Sun reports that the Gunners are lining up a £15million move for the 22-year-old, who starred for AC Milan in their Serie A title triumph this season.

Manager Arsene Wenger had indicated that his transfer work has been completed following the capture of Dutch star Robin van Persie, but he will no doubt be tempted to move for one of the brightest stars in the game.

Any such move will be funded through corporate boxes at Arsenal's new Ashburton Grove stadium, with the newspaper adding that the north Londoners will demand a 50% fee up front.

However, whether £15million will be enough for AC Milan to part with Kaka remains to be seen, especially as they only signed him from Sao Paulo last season.

I thin he would be quite a good signing ;)

Can't see it happening mate, anyway is 15mil enough? Do we have 15Mil? Where would he fit in?

I would prefer to see a top quality centre back anyway.
if wiltord, kanu and jeffers go you will need a striker in

Henry, Reyes, Bergkamp and Bentley (if he plays) isnt enough imo

just for cover purposes

Are we gonna spend 15Mil on just cover? I think not. I agree we need a forward but you missed Aliadiere who I rate so we have 4 forwards anyway.
yeah i forgot him, i still think if Henry got injured you wouldnt have that many goals in your front two

tbh for the first 11 i cant see anywhere where you could improve
just maybes squad wise one or two players

i just remembered you got van persie as well

tbh there is always room for improvement. But you are right about Henry, he has missed to odd couple of games here and there and its not really affected us, but if he was out for a couple of months or so we would feel it. Any team would miss a player of his pace and quality.
