We had better not lose the fucking title now. I just hope we can wrap it up nice and early and Reyes needs to play every game this year now.

The sooner he adjusts the better, in the last 2 games he has looked a hell of a prospect

The League is the most important thing, and I suppose that if someone told me at the beginning of the season that we would only win the league this year, I would be happy. Not to happy that said person ruined the season for me, mind.

Still don't think we have a squad deep enough to be competing with Europe's finest though. Actually, manure and Chelsea have deeper squads. Hopefully, we'll add in the summer and get rid of Wiltord and Kanu.

What can I say? I'm absolutely gutted, we didn't show up in the second half, I'm so disappointed. If you'd have seen me after the Man United game on Saturday, you wouldn't have wanted to talk to me, and this defeat feels even worse than that did. How can we bounce back? Well, I don't know, only the players and manager know that. But I'll tell you one thing, winning this title will mean more to me than anything ever in my life time if we win it.
Anyone who know's me will know that I'm the most superstitious Arsenal fan you're ever likely to know, sometimes I drive myself crazy with my superstitions, and now I know that when it comes down to it, they don't really make a difference. So all I'm hoping from now on is that we play like we know we can play and try our absolute hardest to win this title. It's not about fancy football anymore, it's about winning each game that comes to us. 30 games unbeaten won't mean shit if we end up empty handed at the end of the season. We have some tough games in our run-in, you have to look no further than friday and sunday to know that, but we have to win, I don't care about anything else right now. The only good thing about tonight is that we'll have the Premiership and only the Premiership to concentrate on now, the players will have more time to rest between games from now on, but saying that we've got Liverpool on friday, Newcastle on Sunday and Leeds next friday, but after that we have 9 days before we go to White Hart Lane to play Spurs.
So it's down to us now, it's the Premiership we want, and the Premiership we have to get,
One thing is for sure though, no matter what happens from now on, I will always love this club and be a loyal supporter of them. Arsenal....I love you.

Totally agree with all that. I pray to god we can come out of this match with our heads held high and the Premiership does mean a hell of a lot more to me now than it did when we were treble contenders.
Even though it's very rare (I've only seen it happen twice) that we win the league, it's always such a joy to see us snatch it from the mancs. I think we deserve it too to be honest. Anyone who has seen the way we've played this season in the Premiership should agree with me. OK maybe the CL is an exception.. I don't think we deserved to win it because of the way we only just managed to stay in the tournament but of course it would have been an absolute dream come true. I'm not making excuses.. the way Chelsea came out in the second half with their heads held up was brilliant and they deserved to win it in the end. Pires looked like he was on drugs and gooner2005 is right.. Henry didn't give a shit at all for some reason. Reyes by far was the best player out on the pitch tonight which is a real shame because he hasn't been there throughout the whole CL run of ours.
We played the same way against United on Sunday but to happen in the Champions League semi final makes me sick.

Oh well... I hope we can get further next year and prove to the world we can be one of the world's best teams. I really wouldn't mind seing Chelsea win the CL but they would have to play a better game than they did in the 1st half tonight.

Come on boys.. do us all proud and clinch that Premiership title that we well and truly deserve.

He's been great hasn't he. The passes he made tonight were brilliant and hes a very fast little lad. His only problem is he's pretty weak on the ball... he falls over a lot. But I guess he's only 20 :D

I didn't say that Henry didn't give a shit, that was someone else, but I do agree that he had a poor game, I would never criticise him like that though. But I never like to criticise any Arsenal player to be honest, that's just me though.

Yeah it was Nickybaker that said it.. and tbh I agree with him. He really didn't give a shit and he does that sometimes. When something isn't going his way he just doesn't bother.

Just saw on SKY Sports News though he has a hamstring injury and will be out for the Liverpool and Newcastle games.

Things keep getting better and better :l

Noted remember the tomato joke.. in Classicos mail you sent me?

I remembered your red tomato over white background today, when watching Chelsea scoring that second hammering on a white and red environment like that one... It was fun :).

Congrats kid ;)

Glad you had fun mate :D

I confess.. the tomato already had crossed my eyes last weekend when Manure dumped ARSEnal out of the cup :).

Jens Lehman, I knew he would cost Arsenal, I have been telling people all season, he has made too many howlers and can't seem to do the easy things.Personally you should of hung onto Seaman, even he's better., what happened to Taylor?

I blame Jens Lehman too, my god how poor was that display today :( we dont deserve to go thru on that and well done to chelsea I thought it was tight end of the day but what ever, we are out and they are in :(

Lehman is a bloody tit, his save for the first goal was exactly like the thing Howard did for man utd instead of doing the right thing and parrying to the side (maybe even tipping it for a corner) he just pushed the stupid ball down into the path of a player, yes maybe the players didnt do the biz on the pitch but we certainly need a much more solid kepper for next season.

I feel gutted and sad today, Arsene and his men need to pick themselves up and do something, its turned into a nightmare and we need to wake up from it.

BUt a serious question is just what the hell is going on at Arsenal??? its a deja vu of last year, we look so strong for most of the season then towards the end we seem to bottle it and look tired both physically and mentally???

Knowing us, we'll probably balance the averages and lose all the games we should have done over the season in the next month.

I f*cking hate Lehmann... first the mistake in the first leg, plus 2 poor kick outs against chelsea in the last month which gifted them goals. And the stepover he tried against Kiev. Ship this c*nt back to Dortmund! He's a liability.

But all in all, we got beaten by a much better team in the second half. Most of our players didn't come in the second half..

Love this team to bits... but why do they break my heart so often.. :( :(

There's no point in blaming people. We lost and that it's. The most important thing is the League. The Chelsea game is over now. If all we do is sit around and bemoan about it we'll lose it too. Imagine if this aura of blame is all our boys are getting all round from Arsenal fans - the pressure on them would be too much. There's enough of it around from the media. We've lost about 5 games all season. We remain unbeaten in the league. I DO think we can maintain the form we have shown throughout the season and with some self-belief and belief from others around them, we will win the league. And to be honest, that's more then enough for me.

Looking to Friday, Henry looks out so that means we'll have either Bergkamp or in. Personally, I'd rather not risk Wiltord at the moment as he's just coming back from injury. Reyes and Bergkamp up front doesn't sound right since none of them are out-and-out goalscorers and that could pose a problem. I think we'll see Kanu given a chance then. Playing behind Reyes or Bergkamp. We could even have Reyes on the left with Bergkamp and Kanu up front. I think Pires needs a rest (perhaps coming on later in the game). Edu looks an overly-tired fella too. Gilberto should come in for the game on Friday.

Yes, I want to criticise Henry too. When he's not in shape, he doesn't seem to be motivated at all. He has to FIGHT when it's not going his way.

He also has a lot of negative energy around him. When a teammate loses the ball or doesn't give it to him, he looks angry and blames that player instead of saying things like "nice try" or "next time you should pass it".

We have lost the game because far too many players aren't in shape (the question is whether that's a coincidence or maybe they can't handle the pressure).

I'm shocked.

sucks that lehmann seems to have a breakdown everytime germany is looking very closely at him because of his statements about kahn... and i wonder how and why he keeps on making mistakes in these important games cause he is actually one of the best in the world. he had ronaldo getting insane last season, but now he acts like f'in barthez!

Lehmann can take corners and crosses quite simply, however his shot stopping is rubbish.

On a lot of occasions, he turns around claps a pass and makes sure it's known by continuing to clap. Henry's a perfectionist so naturally if a ball goes array, he'll be disappointed. So what if he gives them an odd stare?

People like Keane would berate them like mad, especially if it was an important ball and people like Keane have extremely influential effects on a team and it's been shown numerous times again. Football doesn't always have to be about back-patting and hugging.

About the game, our players were physically out of it. Things might have gone our way if Edu was rested (it was a type of game that would have suited Gilberto) and if Henry wasfully fit. Anyway, it's over.

No way, I think he he worse than David James at crosses (and thats saying something). He's Ok at shot stopping but he isn't outsatnding in any particular area and you can't challenge to be the best team in Europe with a weak keeper. He makes to many big blunders.

The strength of our back 4 this season has made him look better.

I'm not talking about hugging and stuff, but it's not good for the confidence of a new player like Reyes if he gets an annoyed look of Henry everytime he loses the ball.

Anyway, that's not the biggest deal. Don't you agree with me Henry doesn't give everything? Something that every player should do in a quarter final CL derby.

I think he should have started with the usual of Henry and Bergkamp, they just work soo well together. Then bring the talent of Reyes on. Recently, im sorry to say but Wengers choice of players have been shocking.

Putting Cygan on the left Wing aganist Manchester United?

Playing a player who just came back from injury in the biggest game of the season? (Aliadiere against United)

It was really quite stupid. Also, a few times he used Gilberto on the right wing when he had the opiton of Reyes who does not mind playing on the right.
