Anth's FC24 Gameplay Mod

I think it is obvious, to bother those who play with mods :D

I found this:

The latest EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Title Update

The latest Title Update is now available and includes the changes below.
Addressed the following issue:
- Addressed instances of stability issues that could have occurred.
- The EA SPORTS FC Team

Same here. Why the hell did they update it? It's pointless. Oh wait, maybe they just want to stop us using mods on EA FC 24 :D
That's so annoying. No mod is working anymore for FC 24.

Yeah, if Anth doesn't update the mod, i'm done with EA FC. I mean i paied for the game only because there are mods. If they can't understand mods are making poeple who wouldn't play the vanilla buy the game i can't help them. And preventing poeple to use mods will just disgust them and not buy any EA game anymore. There are loads of great games, enjoyable without mods so they can get lost. Stupid mentality....

Guys, if the gameplay files are not changed, mod should still be playable. Don't look at the mod warnings, EBX are not Legacy files. Give a try to mods and most probably, you'll be able to run the game with gameplay mods. EA doesn't give a shit about mods as long as they are not used online, and the Mod Manager only warns because, essentially, it is a different SDK. But even then, as long as there is no change into the EBX format, they should work properly. Just give it a try.

Also, you could alternatively download latest FMT (Paul's tool) update the SDK if it is a minor update (if not, you'll have to wait for Paul updating the SDK of the tool), then import the mod from the mod file itself, and export it back with the SDK of the new update. Is not a difficult process, merely downloading a tool and doing some file loading and export. Don't bother Anth with this, he's focused now with FC25, and mods should still be usable. Eventually he'll update the mod, but don't whine more than necessary.

I've found an alternative way to get rid of the error message in mod manager.

Assuming steam is used, then we can just rollback to the previous version. Based on this tutorial I've made this 3 steps:

1) Open this URL in your browser:
steam://open/console
It will open the steam console.

2) Execute command in steam console, which downloads the previous EA FC 24 version (takes some time since it's about 45 GB):
download_depot 2195250 2195251 7179615260312921543

Output will be something like this:
Downloading depot 2195251 (44891 MB) ...
Depot download complete : "D:\Steam\steamapps\content\app_2195250\depot_2195251" (338 files, manifest 7179615260312921543)
(Size: 45,1 GB (48.490.489.430 Bytes))

3) If you successfully downloaded the package, it will be on your [path to Steam folder]/Steam/steamapps/content folder. All you need to do now is replacing the game files with your downloaded package.

Now the latest release of Anths Gameplay Mod V18 #TU18.2 works fine again & no error is shown in mod manager. Hope this helps :))

You can donwload 18.2 here (3 files i guess), find the actual manifest, put it in "Read Only" and run Steam in offline mode. All mods go green, and everything gets back to normal

I don't whine about Anth, i understand that he is concentrated on 25. It is all about EA :) Btw thank you very much guys for the solutions!

@NextGenMonkey77 what do you mean about manifest?

On Steam DB Website the FC 24 Game Title Updates are labeled as Manifests. what @Baris suggested is the way you can download every "older" Manifest of a Game that you own. Full set of every TU literally. I often used that for FIFA Games or even for the FC Games. Even GTA 5 owned on steam should be downgradable with this Method. Works for every Steam Game via Steam DB download.

I use this Tool, it have an convinient GUI. Just copy/paste the neccessary files into it, choose a download location and you are ready to go. Of course you must sign in into Steam DB Website with your Steam Data for log in.
