Thanks! It should still work with TU13. Just ignore the warning.
 
Almost a week after release and it's still holding strong for me. Just played a really interesting 0-0 (full manual, 20 min match). 11 shots to 4 in CPU's favour with them holding possession 52-48.

If you Guys didn´t start till yet with a Career mode I can recommend you doing it only with a additional Realism mode for Career mode. I tested 2 mods for a longer time now. I highly recommend either Paul´s Career mode or this one here from MCK: https://dl.fifa-infinity.com/fifa-23/fifa-23-mck-realism-mod/

Both are pimping up the experience where EA failed since ages. I played just for fun last time FIFA 12 again on my old PS3 Console and the same content in the Career mode is still there today in FIFA 23. Just with prettier UI and more colors.
The both Career modes are top notch. Didn´t go deeper because features of both can discovered in the particular mod descriptions. But Career mode would be still unplayable for me without those Career modes.
At the moment I use MCK mod for TU 12. It also comes with a "No Transfer" additional mod which I really love. It just disables all Transfers done by the Career mode through FIFA´s AI. Which we all know are some what dump and unrealistic. I do real soccer Transfers just with Live Editor or Cheat Career Table from Aranaktu. But of course you can disable the Transer stop anytime.

The good thing is you can enable him without issues for your Career save after you have started. Enable him just before Winter Transfers starts and you are good to go. And when you wanna let the AI make some Transfers disable him the next season. GIve him just high priority or take care that nothing similar override the Career mod. Btbh the most mods for FIFA 23 are related to graphics, gameplay, immersion. So no big deal with your load order. ;)

Nice 🙂 Why haven't you played one since Fifa 20? Has it been gameplay related?

I assume you are playing from the 22/23 season with the leagues as they were? Because I'm probably going to wait a few days for a mod to come out that starts off at the 23/24 season with the promotions and relegations from real life, including European groups for the 23/24 season also. It will most likely be out a day or two after June 4th which is the end of the season for the leagues that still have a game left like the Italian and French leagues.

Yeah I know of that mod, I will definitely be using it, either on its own or as part of the EEP mod. My only issue with it is keepers decline too quickly from what I tested. In my test save, my 31 year old keeper was declining when nowadays keepers are at their peak when they are in their early 30's - mid 30's.

That would be huge. I want to start with a Vanarama league team and put them into Premier League.

I hardly guess it have his disadvantages. Not easy to cover all aspects in several following Seasons we play with this mod. In which season do you face the mentioned one with your gk? First season?

You already can, Topaz!! The Vanarama League is also in EEP 23 Patch from SLim Modder. Patch is fully free. It have Vanarama, 4 th German League and Serie B & C.
If you want I can pass you the DOwnload link. Other if you want to wait for Season 23/24 in IEM 23 Patch. :))

How does it work on career mode? Does it have proper cup competition and promotion/relegation as well as prize pool?

Everything is 100 % connected through modding the compdata Files in DLC Folder file structure in your FIFA 23 Folder. I guess the modders can access those files easily through Live Editor or in the FIFA Editor too. I often take a look in that files too, but man I am lost with all those Rules and Numbers. :D

EDIT: You can play FA CUP connected with all 5 Leagues in England. You can play also the lower League Cup structure IDK the name. But if you want and able to do you can lead your vanarama Team through all Leagues up to the PL. Participating in CL or EL.

Yes, all playable in Career mode with Prize Pool and promotion/relegation.

EDIT: Like @HeWillKnockFourTimes told me the Vanarama have no FA Cup in EEP 23 Patch. But the IEM 23 Patch will have that definetly working in Career Mode. But promotion/relegation works in EEP if you started in Vanarama. Sorry for the half truth I told you previously. ;-)

I remember there was once a mod for a previous recent FIFA that had a FA trophy too, I don’t think that is available in any upcoming mod.

I love the amount of competitions in England on FIFA, and it would definitely make playing a League 2 relegation battle fun. Instead of finishing at the bottom and nothing happening ha. I really hope I can get into gameplay of FIFA. I tried 22 when it went on Game Pass, with a similar league mod, and I couldn’t enjoy it at all.

I think someone mentioned IEM 23 to me before, that seems interesting. The mod that will be out probably next week is just a simple mod that lets you start in summer 2023 and has the promotions/relegations plus the European groups. I'm not sure what extra teams it has, but probably nothing in depth like EEP and IEM. The link to the discord server is here: https://discord.gg/QmNgTdab

The EEP creator has said work is underway to release a 23/24 version so that should be soon too, I think.

Yeah first season, both keepers at Leverkusen are degrading, 31 year old Lunev and 33 year old Hradecky. There is a way to use vanilla Fifa development for keepers, but still use the MCK mod. You have to make some changes in the live editor, so I might do that.
 
@Anth James This mod is still solid after my extended time with it and I am finding there hardly any negatives I have with it outside of the core game values of course. I also tried something that @Byronic mentioned which was increasing First Touch error and this has made the game even more interesting, I think one of my favorite things you improved with this mod has been the physicality which has led to more fouls and more believable collisions but with me increasing the First Touch error to 65 for User/CPU it has somehow led to even more fouls to my surprise :SHOCK: and in 2 out the 3 games I have played I was able to draw penalties. Definitely a small sample size and it should be noted I have only tested this with La Liga 2 teams in my career mode so I am definitely curious to see how this plays out once I get promoted (hopefully!). However, thanks again @Anth James for this mod never thought I would coming back to play a modern Fifa again and was pretty much about to just give up on Footy games all together but here I am almost through a full season in career mode and this is something I haven't been able to do in years! So cheers to you, @Paul-v & @hatesince97 for putting together some great mods this year. :BEER::RSCARF:

I know FIFA on video doesn’t translate quite as well, but here’s some more gameplay footage from v5.0. This was a good match, solid battle. Check out the stats at the end too for some reference to how the game played out.
