Isn't it pretty lame that the Scenario Mode doesn't have the correct teams, but use the current ones? They have the Zidane headbutt scenario, but he is not in the game so they give a red card to another player. And it's not the 2006 players like said, it's the current squad.

Just seems so lame to me. Why bother spending time on a mode like this when it's not even close to authentic anyway. I thought the authenticity was the whole point of this mode, to go back in time and play it again.

That is fucking ridiculous and makes the whole option of playing them stupid. very silly idea.

the ones as they go along in the world cup should be good though....hopefully.

don't behave like a pussy i'm just excited to play with albania, my home country and everyone know that it is not such a big team compared to germany or spain but would you not be excited if you did not have england(or what's you home country that is in FIFA) for long time in FIFA and now have the oppertunity to play with them?

so please don't annoy me and shut up if you can't answer questions and just want to give a f#*ing comments wich have nothing to do with EA 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP

Wasn't this the case in the Euro2008 game as well? Scenario mode has always seemed a bit pointless if you can only play with current squads. I don't really see the appeal.
 
Is it just me or does this game look like it has cartoon visuals?

The faces have improved in terms of realism but the rest of the player's body and anything but the grass on the pitch reminds me more of Fifa Street 3 than Fifa 2010. I think it may be because of the South African vivid colour nature of the game.

I have heard complaints about Fifa 10 encompassing too cartoon like visuals and i can understand that to a certain extent because of the shapes of things. Atleast in that game the lightning was continously dark even in the sunshine or the weather was dreary because of the rain. It masqueraded it to an extent.


Basing this on my experience with the demo and the new videos that keep cropping up.

Really lame.

How far do these scenario challenges go back though? Anything from before 2005 is going to seem really stupid as 90% of players probably weren't even playing internationally even then.

That 2006 example sounds a hell of a lot less stupid than something from Mexico 1986 for instance.
 
this game definatley is an improvement over 2010. shooting is better, response times are better, a little bit more individuality. The qualifying campaign option is AWESOME, just like the last good fifa, RTWC 98.. going to keep playing here in abit
 
For me the full game is, surprisely, better than the demo. Maybe becouse i like to play on full manual, 9 minutes half and with custom tatics for the strongest teams.

Edited the tactics for all the 5 and 4 star teams (specially lowering pressure and speed) and the game plays very well.

Playing with low rate teams is great also, just played BENIN vs QUATAR and the game was awesome, specially in the home team default stadium with a very damage field.

The scenario mode is really useless the way it is. Totally ridiculos play last WC final with actual squads.

Still, for me, the game doesn´t worth the full price that they sell it, since it will only be playable until september.
 
So instead of wasting time on a fake scenario mode EA could have implemented clubs into the game. Pisses me off even more. Though I doubt EA has surprised anyone after this.
 
Can someone post the Liechenstein kit?! Drove through there once and would really like to know if they have added the official one.......


As for the scenariomode, didn't expect anything else. As if they are going to "waste" time on proper research when they can just add some generic nonsense and market it!
 
AARRGHHH not again!! http://www.easportsfootball.co.uk/media/play/video/18838450 In this vid clip I am playing all manual, I took centre and passed the ball to my full back. Although I tried changing player (tried shoulder button & analogue stick) I was locked onto my midfield player. This has happened to me more times in the 2min demo than it did in all my time playing FIFA10. This "player lock" has been going on for too many renditions of FIFA. Why is EA wasting time bringing in things like 2 button control system when there are so many basics like this requiring attention?

I reckon they might owe me a couple of quid once we're done!

I really love the demo (despite the various flaws mentioned on here) - I think I must be getting old as I find myself accepting them and looking only at the positives.

No offence mate but he's probably pissed off with not having his team in the game fully licensed for x years... or at least with the proper kit.

He isn't talking about ankle tape or nets or any other bullshit like sooo many people here do so give him a break.

Admittedly he is going on a bit though. I asked about Wales as I'm curious too. If I don't get an answer so be it.

Try playing 2 players on the same team, you get that plus random player swaps when either of you is not pressing a thing...:P
