Yes, it'll probably use the exact same engine as well. Those kits look naff, they have the official license and they can't even get basic things like the kits right - when did the new Brasil kit have the Italian collar from 2 seasons ago? The yellow trim on the Argentina kit looks like it's been drawn on with a crayon, and the player likenesses are dire!
 
The player likenesses are ridiculously bad!

Just going by numbers it's still hard to actually make out anyone in that Argentina team shot and dont get me started on Raul for Spain. :lmao:

Adriano looks like some sort of caricature or EA Big representation of himself. :roll:
 
Brazil's new kit has a small collar I think Classic.

I like the stadium shot that looks good but again it looks like shitty player likeness and artificial and crappy looking kits... oh well roll on PES6 360.. doesnt look like this one will be any good either.

The small matter of selling their latest current-gen version in Japan, probably. If they showed you their next-gen version would you be that excited about one that uses the same engine as the one already on your shelf?
 
lol not sure Nick to be honest I spose they want us to get on our knees and beg for it? or they want us to appreciate it more when it comes out... maybe some odd tactical ploy?

Well some stuff looks good, but like ClassicD and Dar said the player likeliness and the odd kits are extremely poor.

Maybe I could forgive teams not having 100% accurate kits (well I am used to Konami ;) ), but having players not remotely looking like themselves is awful.

I expect nextgen WE/PES to be outstanding in both gameplay and graphics. Cant wait for the first pics to come out.

hope they still fix it...3d grass might be gone for fps reasons, but damn, this is next gen and not a slow 1 ghz computer.
 
I can think of more important things than grass I want in a football game. I know it's next gen, and we shouldn't have things like flat grass, and flat crowds, but if we could have things like amazing animation at the cost of 3d grass, I'd rather the animation.
 
They'll be able to optimize it so when you're close up to the grass, it'll be 3D, and far away, it'll have less detail etc. Just give them some time.
