[General Discussion] Evo Radar - New games, trailers & rumours

Made by one guy... How?

Afaik game was started as a one man project but now the guy has more devs working on it. I think this one will be a huge success and they'll have a lot funds to improve it during early access. Good to see indie devs trying to save the gaming industry. All big companies are a disgrace now.

So Warhorse studios reveals their new game at 20:00 pm tonight
Everyone, including me hopes for Kingdom Come 2

Edit: to pumped up, its tomorrow the reveal is...

If you ask me, I would think it will be a wildwest (like RDR or RDR2) game when I see the horse and the horseman on the picture.
But we will see.

And at the end after KC1 I trust the devs, that the new one will be have the same quality like KC1 - so a very good one.

Hopefully not going down EA/Bethesda etc way with online and lootboxes

Where is the blood, lads? First part combat, even tho awesome, felt like we were swinging wooden weapons. Little snippet of combat in this clip looks exactly the same.
I was hoping for dismemberment, or AT THE VERY LEAST - blood.

WOW, not really my type of game, but something about the detail of it, the scope and how this guy reviews it, really looks good. Thanks for turning me onto this reviewer as he's great. Halfway through he rants about modern snowflakes and not being able to say the "R" word, ha. Oh just read on and see you mention the same! I agree with him though, the modern world is a mess. Corporations destroying everything good, people censoring everyone. It's why we need to play retro games, or better still pretend we are the lord of a manor in some distant time to distract ourselves from it all the nonsense.

I'm really excited about this, however I don't seem to see anything different from the Madden with a fresh coat of paint. Running animations and whatnot. Still, should be fun. I really hope it differentiates from Madden and hope it doesn't carry over all the quirks from it. I thought I had read it was coded from scratch (could be wrong tho)

EA again with the same bs: CampusIQ, wear & tear etc. Just names for non existing or limited features to deceive the potential buyer of the game.
They also mention fast paced gameplay in almost every paragraph. Is this going to be an arcade game like NFL Blitz? I understand you can disable crap like screen shaking, moving play arts, missing icons etc but the whole thing either doesn't sound good or some announced features there sound too good to be true.

I actually do like the features they mention. Sure, I hope they implement them well but at the same time I look forward for these features to differentiate from a Madden football game even though its the same sport. I hope by faster gameplay it also means more open gameplay, doesnt necessarily mean nfl blitz given its college football the dynamic is a bit different than pro football .

Screen shaking/missing icons was in in previous games and I actually liked it as you could feel the stadiums played a big part in rattling the opponents as in real life which doesnt really translate to the Pros (playing in tiger stadium in LSU vs playing in northwestern should feel different).

So again, even though I approach it with skepticism, I'd rather they give these features unique to CFB and make it different than Madden

Any chance Manor Lords will support a controller?! Is that possible?! Cause I don’t play with mouse and keyboard anymore, I prefer the controller and couch setup for the handful of other games I play.
Mainly I do my sim racing in the cockpit though.

Maybe when the game is released for consoles in 5-7 years. It's not the dev's priority. He's now looking openly for a lot of devs to support his team. I reckon funds won't be an issue as the game is selling well but it's going to be difficult for him to find creative devs nowadays. If other indie devs offer to help him or a company like Larian backs the project especially on a dev/publisher side it's going to be perfect for him and us eventually.

The source is a Ghana game retailer that does console cleaning.
Not saying they aren't legit, but take this with the same skepticism as a "come to Brazil" comment on a concert video on Youtube
I know the sources until now are not 100% reliable, but more and more creditable site keep sharing them.

On the one hand there's no smoke without fire. On the other hand, it's desperate times we live, for offline single player footy lovers, so maybe it's another exploit of fallen dreams.

Just crossing my fingers it's real, that they will give the depth they give to their NBA2K offline modes, and that they will achieve some decent gameplay, that's the biggest bet.

Anyone playing Chornobyl Liqiudators? Released today. I'm not sure if I will get it. I played the demo and was absolutley scared and after ~ 5-10 minutes dead. :PUKE::MAD:☢️☢️☢️

Looks like the demo was better than the full release according to Steam reviews. I would generally trust Steam reviews when it come to this kind of indie games. If it sits at "Mixed" it's not looking good.
Empires of the Undergrowth is getting the 1.0 release tomorrow. I would suggest getting this one instead.

[...]
In this case I would not give a fakk about the steam reviews, because the toxic steam user [pro Put(in)] > Putout asshole give an Ukrainian game negative reviews without a sense. And if you look in the valve steam statistics the most steam user have a toaster with win7 or something and screaming: "my fps"!?!!111111!!111!

But anyway I asked if anyone of us have the game and played it?

In less than two weeks a new adventure awaits thee, loyal tarnished: on the other side of The Lands Between...

The best DLC ever made (95 on Metacritic), created by the best studio ever made (FromSoftware)... for the best videogame ever made (Ohh... my, Elden Ring) !!!
