Brazil: Ronaldo and Pele..in Pele's national team these players were much better than Ronaldo: Carlos Alberto, Rivelino, Gerson, Jairzinho and Tostao.
In 1982: Socrates and Zico: both better than Ronaldo.
Later: Romario: better than Ronaldo.

it is complicated with countrys that separated...

for example Czechoslovakia best team was on euro 1976 they won it..there was more Slovaks in the team then..

so i pick up like this:

best Slovakian player imo was Ladislav Jurkemik
best Czech rep. player imo was Antonin Panenka, famous till today for his penalty kick style in the final against Germany..

after the countries separated..

best Czech player was Pavel Nedved
best Slovakia player was Peter Dubovsky (RIP)

he was way better than all Slovak players now..he played for Real Madrid, but tragicaly died to soon :(
