Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller PES 2021 problem

Does anyone use an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller for PES 2021? I just purchased one and I find it very unresponsive and the directions to be very weak. At first I thought it was because of the infamous scripting bug that eventually appears but when I switched back to my old controller it was fine.
