Well done Korea but jeez you get too confident too quickly! After the 2-1, the Korean players lost some motivation and got very careless. If Yakubu and Martins scored, you'd have been out for sure.

last standing Korea player stoped and then about 20 cm away the running Nigeria man gave his pass.. the tackling Korea player is out of it, since in moment of the pass he was in air..

you can see closely that the last Korea player in field step on the white line with his right foot..but the ball was in theat moment of pass, about 20 cm in offside...

check the line where the grass is chainging color to darker...

nevermind i think if Yakubu scored, the line referee would not argue..

It's very close, I'd say he's just offside. But I doubt the ref would have stopped it.

look at the dark green patern of grass...

and then look where on the left leg of Nigeria player who gives the pass..

then on the same green patern the right leg of last korea player in field.
 
Pipa, in this kind of positions, the ball or the player himself (carrying the ball) (which one is in front) indicates the off-side line. You better prefer learn to gross ignorance, however much it's hard to accept having been wrong.

and Milanista, I think you're looking at the position in a slapdash manner.

Congrats guys!

I knew you could come ahead of Greece and the much fancied Africans but I don't believe in Lagerback and so could see Korea leading the way for us Asians!

Perhaps Japan will join you in a couple hours in the next round as only Asian representatives. 2 out of 16 teams from Asia is good. Something for us all to be proud of if it happens. We'll see...
