Sounds fine for me, it's the perfect quality for PS3, it still sounds clear when encoded slowly, yet each tune is only 3 or 4mb.Doesn't 96kbps sound shitty though? If not, I'd be interested in the pack too

Plus to add to what Proxi has said, it appears that anything encoded in 320kbps wont play during the game. Maybe it's another problem I have but anything I've tried encoded at that quality just wont load in game...
256kbps is the best I've had and that has a slight pause before it kicks in at times. Odd.

I'm loving this. 
Rolling back the gaming years and thanks to only having 3 friends (winner) haven't hit the technical issues.
I also hit the second level of career wall last night with that race in the top left. I've got silver and finished less than a second behind the winner but otherwise I generally get PES'd before the end. This is with the AI on skilled but I gather it's not much easier if at all on novice.
I haven't got annoyed with it yet, though, so maybe I'm just a Wipeout fanboi.

I'm doing my usual thing of doing them all on novice, then on skilled, then on elite. Fuck me, on elite it's insane, but I love it even though I haven't done hardly any on it, heh. Races sometimes are impossible! I'm really liking Ubermall and Moa Therma [I think?] at the moment, and there's another one I love, I think it's Sol 2 where you're up in the sky or something.

Got my first top 20 time in the world last night on a Hotlap in the Frenzy tier. Forget the name of the track now, arse. But I kicked it's ass anyway. 
It's the one that begins with a C I think. Starts off with a chicane to the left and then a right, into a sharper right, then a left over a hill into a magnetic zone that dips and dives before coming back up and around into a right hand bend.
Probably would have been easier to try and remember the name of the track but anyhoo.
We should organise a race night, try and get a few of us on at the same time. We seem to have 5 or 6 people which would be enough for it to be good and probably best for it not to be jam packed and collision filled.
As with Mart I only have about 3 friends on the PS3, haha, so if that bug gets sorted hopefully some of you guys can add me and we can get something going.

I'm up to tier 5 now I think - and i need 1 more point to get to level 6. It's a bit strange because there are some races that are 3 star and then randomly 1 star challenge in there as well which i'll piss on for easy points. The 3 star difficulties are super fast - too fast for me to realise what im doing and the ai are terrible for ganging up on me - rocket, rocket, mines, rocket, rocket... i'm in 8th again.

Found some short cuts on a few levels but they're really risky and if you cock up you're sent to 8th. I can't think of the names but basically anytime you come up a hill and you have a boost pick up you can jump over half of the track.
Off the top of my head - the level that's in the top left of tier 2 - it has a tight left right left right with a boost then a drop down. and at the start of the level you have a hard left turn. Well as you come up the hill for the tight turns if you boost there you leap over all of that and land in the 'drop down' area.
The other level is the one with the big panda and a split left/right in the track. As the track rejoins if you have a boost pick up there you can leap over the track and cut out that sharp corner with the boost and land on the long straight ahead - you just have to make sure you are above the track and you dont go too far off to the left/right or it detects you've gone too far and sends you back to the join part in 8th.

I'm on Head Rush, that's 5 right? And I understand what you mean with the rockets rockets mines thing Rad, they are so harsh with that on harder difficulties! Its fun but really frustrating. The one with the panda in is Ubermall by the way, one of my favs! Also I think Dar has a good idea, we should add each other if we haven't already and organize a night for us all online, that would be fun.

Hmm I'm checking them straight after races and they don't show on there either. Maybe it's something that's started working in the last day or two.
