just make sure the product key you have matches the one installed and is the same version of windows going back on

for example windows 7 pro. your key wont work with a different version.

also you may need an oem version of the disc as the key you have might be tied to the oem version

Cheers mate. I have my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit DVD that I bought when it was released. I could use that, or may download a newer ISO with SP1 built in.
