Why is Wait for Vsync greyed out, anyone else have this too?!

We always had the V synce option to tick in previous PES series. However I wanted to to tick this as there's line cuts in the middle of the screen during gameplay in PES 2009. Had I had the option for wait for V-sync to tick it then I would not have the line tearings on screen.
I was expecting the new patch to fix this problem too bt it didn't I play on 1440x900 resolution very smooth and fast but it causes line tearings on the screen how do you remove it?

Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?

It don't work above 60hz m8, if your refresh rate is higher , change it to 60hz.

I think it is because you disabled V-sync in the GPU Driver.
Go to the drivermenü and enable V-sync or change it to "application controlled".

Set ur desktop resolution at 60Hz
Then the option becomes available

it worked at 70hz or more in pes 2008 without turning it on in graphic card control panel... i don't know why it has to be set on 60hz to work in pes 2009... i hope konami will fix this too...

Actually as a matter oh fact this is possible and actually it worked at 60Hz however, interestingly online lags when I have the V-Sync on. When its off its perfectly smooth!
But it basically means that I can't play it on 1440x900 without the lines, possible with v-sync on however its only really playable offline.

I think this is something Konami need to work on that funny goal keeper lag bug that happens occationally during match is caused because of the V-sync on! Turn it off and you'll have the perfect online experience. If I put the resolution on 1280x960 then there's less line distortion.
