Which team are you a fan of?

Yeah, that's true—they're forever linked to the club. (The same goes for the Düsseldorf ice hockey club, by the way; they even released a special jersey a few months ago.) And the band helped Fortuna a lot financially when the club had a really difficult time.
However, in my humble opinion, they released their last good album 36 years ago... 🫢

Most of the time, the club drifts along somewhere in the 2nd Bundesliga, with the occasional foray into the 1st or 3rd division. About 24 years ago, they even managed to get relegated to the 4th division for two years. Funnily enough, that’s when I had the most fun, especially at the away games.

After taking a break from professional football for a while, I’ve now been a season ticket holder again for some time.

To make up for the poor football I have to endure every week, I often go to the local amateur club near me. They’re currently mid-table in the sixth division. Watching even worse football there helps a bit.

Yeah, feel you, weve won two titles since 1889 with Hammarby (my team), so i get it.
But Fortuna is a massive Club, amazing Stadium as well
 
Hamburger Sport Verein [HSV] -
6 times German champions, 3 times cup winners, 1 European Cup of National Champion Winners, always in the first league wait a secound... unfortunately not always in the first league anymore. 7 damn years in the second division. I wasn't allowed to experience a single title myself. What I was allowed to experience was semi-final defeats in the UEFA Cup against arch-enemy Werder Bremen and a UEFA Cup semifinal defeat against Roy Hodgen's Fulham, although the subsequent final would have been at home in Hamburg... Had a season ticket for years and traveled regularly, but since starting a family I've only watched TV. I love it. Despite all always HSV!
 
Wydad Casablanca, currently not in its best form but still having a chance to win the league.
