What are you listening to?

One of my favourite songs. I only discovered it because on Spotify it is wrongly credited to Mayumi Yamamoto (also known as Cindy) who is a Japanese singer I frequently listen to and someone with the same stage name as the singer who features in this song (Cindy Bernadette).

I'm not complaining though. This glitch in Spotify led me to discover one of my favourite bands ever, and music in a language I've never spoken before or even heard.

Somehow like this more than The Cranberries' cover

Actually bro, I think the Cranberries is the original version, not a cover! :)

According to lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, "Dreams" was written for an early love; she explained, "I wrote that about my first love when I was living in Ireland ... It's about feeling really in love for the first time".

I really like both versions though! Both Dolores' and Faye Wong's! Both very evocative! Faye really did the song justice! :TU:

I just checked and you're right, Faye Wong's version is the cover, my bad. Somehow I thought Chunking Express (the movie in which Faye Wong and the song both features) was released in the 80s because it felt like an 80s movie :P

Ah, The Groove! I would recommend Khayalan and Satu Mimpiku. Or perhaps this is one of the songs that I've listened for months :D :D

Just found it by chance. A classic.

I rarely listen to R+ anymore because the accusations against Till have made me increasingly uneasy over the past few years.
I really hope that what Till was accused of isn't true.

However, the last video from Till's solo project, for example, left me, let's just say, a little irritated.

I love Khayalan a lot, though Satu Mimpiku not so much (even though its their most popular song). I quite enjoyed the song you linked to, thanks for sharing :)
