Think were all forgetting soemthing, full stadiums no slowdown, thats a victory in itself :)

2 key points I think the critics are missing:

1) the proportion between the players and the pitch is finally restored, and in the right direction (i.e. the pitch finally looks wider and deeper as it was in PES3). AFTER 3 YEARS of arcady games I think we might be back on the right track of "simulation"

2) the camera guys, after 3 years the camera is finally fixed. it's higher and it follows the action (it couldnt be otherwise since the pitch is now too big for the camera to stay fixed) as it used to do in the older versions of winning eleven

the graphic looks good and the pitch is awesome. gameplay seems too fast (but thats always the case with uploaded videos, so let's wait here) and action not very fluid (but this could be because the 2 guys playing are not very good at PES and because the the indivual plyers on the pitch are not set up to do the right moves)

yeah def not deep enough. great animation just need to have an option to change the styles..tigher, more box style, deeper nets ala new wembley!

also if the net styles dont change the impression of playing in dofferentbstadiums is lost! they have been changing the styles for years on ps2 - no reason to change is there!!???!!:(:(:(:(;)

I agree with EditorInChimp..

This looks like a goal(net) in a south american stadium like the brazil stadium or something like it.

Hope that old trafford does not have the same goalnets ..would be very very bad ..:(

Overall, I think I need to see some more videos to judge the game..

all round pretty great to be honest im happy. after the shambles that was pes 6 360 this is welcome. However, the gk was shocking for tevez goal but probably on low AI.

looks like a tweaked game again, no really big chances

as long as it plays good it's OK for me...
I'll get PES and FIFA anyway :)

It seems like one game has that what the other is lacking :-/

Ok my 10 cents having looked at the video.. what is the running animation all about? the passing looks exactly the same as PES6 allthough the ball moves across the pitch much better...I seriously hope the manual passing is good this time and easier to execute. Pitch Texture looks excellent so thats a pleasing sight. I am looking forward to this, it seems to run quite smoothly :)

yeeeep, thats untucked. Sorry, didnt see that video.

The graphic side has impressed me, but not the sound. People doesnt seem to be watching the match. In Argentina portugal, when the penalty over Crespo, the sound doesnt even change...

They wouldn't bother mentioning it if it was the same as last year, surely?

I think this was a general Konami pressconference, not special for PES 2008. That would be no info at all!
