UPDATE: Got a little text from my cousin concerning the big surprise; "Maybe it could have something to do with the ML..., but hush, hush"

Tell him to stop winding you, and evo-web, up. We have enough members near and in belgium to hunt him down and sort him out :D

We live in hope though that the ML has actually been changed.

I hope he's not playing!! More surprises is gooooood!! Plus we need a change in ML, even the ones who like the ML would like a change!!

I would be happy, if they mix up ML and the fantasy mode...

Before we will get a proper ML with "real" 1st, 2nd divisions and international cups in PES, FIFA will get proper ball physics...
...never unfortunally :D

I think Riot can't help you with the surprise.
My guess is that it might be the improved master-league and that the only demo wich has it already is... the PS 3. :)
Why else do they so mysterious about the PS 3 demo??

I'm not really bothered about surprises or Master League, I wouldn't be bothered if the only mode we had in the game was for friendlies.

All I'm bothered about is what this game is like out on the pitch.

He works for a Finnish games magazine, he usually gets BETA versions this time of year and tells us everything about the game.

He's got PES 2008 but we aint heard much from him :(

Anyone who works for games magazines, journalists, games testers.

Most developers will show a video and unveil everything about a game even a year before it comes out.

Konami are fussy about things like that, probably because EA steal all their ideas.

Riot is under oath I think. Hence why we havent heard anything from him, he did post some Xbox 360 screenshots in the 360 PES 2008 thread but took them down soon after.

For months people have been saying it's gonna look better, IT'S NOT!

Apart from boots, balls and sponsors that's it, you've seen the final graphics.

We're still gonna get the Monet grass, we're still gonna get the Virtua Fighter 1 crowd.

What else we'll get is a new gameplay engine, completely redone animations and whole new modes!

i think we can safely assume that the pictures posted yrday were a very early build as the player models (not faces necessarily) were absolutley no reflection of all the screenshots we had seen before so unless Konami have digitally touched up (saucy) the "official" screens which have been released the leipzig version will look significantly better than yesterdays in game footage.

Yup I think that he broke the Non disclosure by posting those screenshots, i don't think that Konami Europe will have been very impressed hence we haven't heard anything from Riot since, shame because I always look forward to his previews.

The reason he's got a BETA is for previews, whether he'll post on here or we'll have to wait for his magazine I don't know.

lucky bugger none the less, there is a downside to his job, surely he gets so many poor games to play/preview/review sort of outbalances teh odd good one he gets
