the breakfast guy is only here to post negative things, he does that every year ...the rest of the year he isn't here...just ignore him. When the game comes out he will vanish again till next year...

Now he's criticizing the graphics, a couple of pages ago he was arguing that graphics aren't important...that it's all about the gameplay...

Might we be getting the same demo that will be at Liepzeig 07?

Last year's PES6 360 demo was the same demo that was playable at Liepzeig 06.

I simply can't believe we get a demo so early. Every year Konami offers a demo when the game is already released. I think there is some kind of miscommunication. They mean there will be a demo in augustus in Leipzig is my bet.

I need reassurance now from a video to make sure the far camera shots aren't as bad as they look here. One of the most important part of the game currently (judging by those pics alone) looks worrying (in terms of graphics).

I believe ieatfanboysforbreakfast has every right to question those wide camera shots because they are not impressive. I will say i am impressed with the menus (in my top 5 changes to PES) and the editing feature finally looks like its got its act together. I just hope you can import your own pictures, which readjust themselves to form faces like in the seabass pic. I love creating teams with all my mates in.

This may sound stupid, but could Konami postpone the release of PES 2008, because of this information leaking out?

Yak, the woodsy photo face maker looks excellent. One can only hope PES 2008's is close to that.

Thats PES6 for the yanks,but it's called pes07.don't worry the yanks always get it last. Hence Beckham..No offence my yankie doodle mates..;)

I´m sure in terms of quality it will not be like that... but it will work really similar... but will see...

Amen.

I am not worried at all about graphics, we have seen better captures so no problem about that. I do agree that the pictures today are crap, but we have seen better ones... no problem at all...

Guess im not the only one to be dissapointed. Its a great "extra" feature to add to the seemingly huge editing suite, however i was so hoping it would be about the ML structure, or something of similar importance that would really effect the game. Its all well being able to put your photo int eh game and make your own face, however im wondering how we can actually get the file into the game? Do we need to spend extra on MS/Sony cameras? Or can we connect the console (360) across the network and just place a photo on the hdd/mmc? Either way it wont effect a lot of people, mostly the diehard editors (who have the talent to create accurate faces with the normal editor anyway. Other then that it will be an amusing feature to put yourself in the game.

You have got to be kidding me, everybody is raving about importing your own face into the game??..... that's Seaasses big-little tweak for the next gen.... What the hell do they do over there... How the hell do they ever get enough creativity together to make a new game?

Importing faces....... I just.. no sorry, no words could cover it.. :shock: #-o.... faces!!

If it allows access to the PS3s XMB pictures folder then it should be easy as the PS3 picks up most cameras plugged in via usb, you can rip the pics strait off.

Any usb memory stick or psp you can do the same... so it depends it it can use the XMB pics or if it has the XMBs diversity of file access.

tbh it's a very nice feature if you can do it for every face in the game. Photo realistic faces for EVERY player? Certainly loads better than watching loads of generic faces.

tbh it's a joke......... Next Gen power and better programming should be a big move towards photo realistic graphics along with faces, kits and stadiums... It's just a given in other games in Konami world it's a new frikin invention from the minds of gods!!
Like most things with Konami it comes down to time and money...

Yeah, to tell you the truth I am happy with this feature, a lot of people are disappointed but what can I say, I actually like this feature and I'm glad there are others like me.

I think the dissapointment is that THIS is the big surprise. Its a great little extra feature to the editing suite. But no more then that imo.

I don't think its a great "little" extra feature. It is a nice surprise and it is a very nice feature to be honest now that we have in our hands the ability to add the most realistic faces to our game instead of just editing. BUT. I don't think its a BIG or a HUGE surprise because personally, i'm in love with the ML and was hoping it was something to do with the ML or maybe they replaced it with something much better. But oh well, this is still good :)

Ok gang sorry for the late reply been busy all day but my cousin got back to me a couple of hours ago to answer your questions and here goes.

1. There is an attempt made for 360 movement, but it felt”akward”. It was at times glitchy and stuttery, but my cousin was under the impression that it was a bug that needed fixing.
2. No online modes available on beta, so he has no idea whether or not ML is online. He suspects so because Konami Tyo mentioned in a bulletin quite some time ago that they were gonna expand online modes. This is however NOT sure.
3. No Fantasista mode detected anywhere in the game.
4. ML: same ML, same structure, new look, more “gimmicky”. No more, no less.
