No we're not assholes...we're just stubborn...
Well Georges Leekens is an asshole (joke by a Brussels fan...don't reply about Vermeersch...).

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/01/07)

Cheers looks pretty legit to me since site covered previous stuff.

Well if they posted get posting some screenshots everyone else. :D

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/01/07)

It looks like Tottenham and Newcastle are licensed.

Re-arranged should be happy. :)

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/01/07)

The presentation of the game doesn't look really good though.

The captions, background and etc looks a bit amateurish.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

Now it does - wow, that looks a hell of a lot better!

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

Presentation and up close looks very good anyway - the zoomed out shots look quite poor still.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

Newcastle and Tottenham licensed, sorry but what the fuck are Konami on...

The licensing stuff doesn't really matter but seriously, you've got Man Utd winning the league, Chelsea finishing a close second, Liverpool in the CL final, and they license Newcastle and Tottenham...

It's almost suspicious. Why the hell would they do that?

EDIT: Take a look at THIS SCREENSHOT. Ignore the two Real Madrid players in the box, and look at the others. Almost ALL doing the same "running gazelle" stance. They don't look like they're playing football, they look like they're in the 100m dash! That looks fucking ridiculous!

[Positive comment to avoid hatemail: The faces look awesome]

They are licenced so far! It is just a beta version of ps2 and xbox360.

Riot, who posted the pictures in ps2 and xbox360 forums has been the godfather of pes here in Finland for almost a decade now. Cant wait for the septeber issue of Pelaaja-magazine. Thanks Riot.

What is the language ,anything new ??

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

I'm not good at those things but i have a feeling that this looks genuine.
I even think that a guy who know and then posts here is working for that site (Riot???).
So if this is genuine and if i'm right that Riot is working for that site, we will soon here more news about the game (i'm certain he has played it...or will be playing it very soon).

Stringer Bell, i quite like the presentation...

Ieatrottencerealsforbreakfast will disagree with me, but i'm suddenly becoming quite optimistic concerning PES (and FIFA)...but i'm just an old moron fanboy.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

Maybe they aren't allowed to use the same team two years running - wouldn't surprise me seeing as EA seem to run the show license wise! Personally I think that's cracking news that Spurs is on there though! Not that it makes much difference for me as I'll be getting the PC version anyway

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

He(Riot) posted these earlier in the 360 pes2008 thread, with a few comments aswell.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

Images look SHITE IMO. Where are players shadows for example? We will not be sure how the game looks until we see Konami published video.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

shadows are missing

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 08/02/07)

I don't know what it is, but i don't like the way the presentations looks.

It looks a bot bulky and bland to me.

Anyways it might be because it's X-Box preview build.
