I probably shouldn't say this, but shortly after his last illustration was posted, Badgerman was offered the job of adding the final graphical touch to PES 2008. Konami were quoted as saying "his graphical skills are by far the best we've seen in 35 years of business".

He's boarding a plane now, I believe.

That's not the Zentralstadion of Leipzig, as mentioned in the magazine. It's FC Porto's Estádio do Dragão.

I was expecting trees, city buildings, people around the entrances, etc... That picture looks very plain, almost to the point where you wonder why they've bothered with it. :eh:

Or is Estádio do Dragão in the middle of nowhere?

You never been to Dragao then.........it looks like that, there is a sort of panoramic path that turns around the stadium built on a natural slope, from there u have a beautiful view.

I have been there once, Denmark Czech Republic euro 2004, it is really a nice venue.

Still one positive thing from those pictures: the sense of depth is pretty good, especially comparing it with the rather plain feeling of the 2007 360 version

Either way images like that have button-skip written all over them after the first week.

Im sure another footie game had outside stadium images in the match build-up, which would then be followed by images of the stands and supporters.......does anybody know what game that is? Or am i just imagining it? It feels like the memory is from years ago aswell.....
