Agreed, how anyone can currently compare the 360 to the PS3 I don't know. I've got ten 360 games that I regularly play, the PS3 has one game I'm interested in (and even then it's no Gears Of War beater). Yes, the 360 is unreliable, but I wouldn't swap it for a PS3.

But before anyone gets carried away and says "NO MY PS3 RuLEZ!!", I bolded "currently" because this time next year, who knows, the 360 games might be poor and the PS3 ones gold.

It's the games that makes a console - after all, it is a "games" "console".

Xbox 360 is a fucking unreliable piece of shit. I've been waiting for mine to come back from M$ for 2 weeks now. It'll be my 3rd. I don't know anyone with a good working system.

Too bad coz it's a really enjoyable machine.

So KONAMI please, give me a reason to buy a PS3.

What's really weird is I know three people (including myself) who have one of the original 360s (i.e. bought on the release date of the 360). None of them have had problems (with the exception of Microsoft banning mine for no reason). No "unreadable disc" error, no red lights, nothing. The guys I know who have bought 360s after six months or so of the 360 release date have all had problems, including the one I bought to replace the banned console which is from the beginning of this year. So it's like they're getting worse...

Still, A) they should be producing the 360s with the improved chipsets shortly, which will reduce the amount of people with problems, and B) this thread is going horribly off-topic again, sorry. :mryellow:

anyway - the ps3 is about 2 years younger than the 360. give it some time, y'all.

I never said that the ps3 is "better" than 360, as i think they are virtually the same tech wise overall. but you are right the 360 blows the ps3 outta the water on variety and overall quality of games so far.
YOu wont believe that I am saying this, but I sort of regret selling my 360 now and getting the ps3 so early!:shock:

Mind you i dont really play much games anymore, just good for blu ray and pes6 ps2 version.

Also, i am still expectant that the ps3 version of pes2008 will be the same core engine as 360 and pc but slightly different somehow in terms of maybe superficial graphics, animations, or more likely actual modes or content what with the hard disk as standard and blu ray disc yadadada...;)

Anyways, just because that person say they will be the same doesn’t actually mean that. Look at Thierry Henrys agent and Barca before the transfer, complete denial!! lets wait until we all see both side by side in the flesh...........

Was this post even necessary? The mods said enough of the console battles, to the point of them deleting posts.

The thing is, I'm hoping you are right. But if it comes out that the PS3 version is better, all the people you did go after will rub it all in your face. And the hail for the PS3 will reign.

And I, personally, will feel stupid because I would be stuck with a a downgraded version of PES on the 360. Not because I wanted it that way...but because I can't afford a PS3 right now.

Nothing special, just it's a crazy work this time and about FIFA it's a mistake i think because it's a Football magazine, no video games.

I hope you're being sarcastic and I'm just not picking it up. That is a picture of the bloody-awful-compared-to-next-gen PS2 FIFA. Look at the resolution of the shirt for God's sake, big horrible smeary yellow lines and robot feet.

Strange that they put in a FIFA picture with a PES article. I know it's a football magazine and not a games magazine, but still... If I was Konami I would be fuming at that. You get a nice little exclusive interview and they print a picture of a totally different bloody game. :mryellow:

overall wat du u lot think of the litle info screens so far

In my honist oppinion i dont think the game looks bad at all, so cant wait for a video.
The graphics arent to bad a improvement slightly, so really im loving it so far and i hope the 5th of july doesnt turn out to be the most dissapointing day of my pes following days.:lmao:

Like everyone else I keep scanning for info in here and just find PS3-360 bashing, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it lives up to the hype and things really are being changed, including a move into the real world of money, not poxy WEN points. Though it seems we're here every year.
All those snooping keep up the good work guys.

well, its getting difficult to sort the rumour and pure speculation now, so lets just awit and see. but if anything it is about time that Seabass has some healthy competition now, as it can only mean good things for all os us. One thing for sure, I am going to buy both pes2008 and fifa 08 this year. May even buy back my Xbox 360 as well ( just for you Camey boy and DJDoc!);)
