Seen the shots? Sure, it looks a *bit* like the Xbox 360 version, but the way some tutting, contrary, internet babies are going on, you'd swear they'd only seen six teaser screenshots, as opposed to, say, the detailed footage of the game they obviously must have seen to allow them to write off PES 2008 completely. Pathetic.

Haha, if that's from the article, "internet babies", then that's great journalism (being sarcastic, if you didn't guess). If you're a respected site then you should be concentrating on the facts rather than whining about the whining, for God's sake. In-fact, that makes me wonder how credible that article is, if that's how it's written. It sounds like it's been written to shut people up rather than present any actual information.

I'm sure it's true but that's no way to communicate to your readers, half of which will be thinking that the shots were poor.

Didn't know it was from a blog, I thought it was part of the CVG article.

EDIT: Oh, it is. And it's written by a member of the PSM staff, heh, that's shocking. He's entitled to his opinion but I think he's been a bit too angry when he's written that. So much so that I'm wondering if he's a fanboy of the PES series exagerrating his PES7 experience to shut the moaners up. Bit of a bad strategy writing an article with terms such as "internet babies".

Yup, that article simply makes think the "journo" in question is just some forum fanboy voicing off.

It seems to me that, based upon we've all seen and heard, people are just as entitled to have doubts about PES2008 as to claim it will be amazing. Where's the evidence that it's going to be amazing? PES6 certainly wasn't.

I still have optimism PES2008 will be good. It must surely be better than PES6. Of course, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, but if CheatVision, sorry TeamVision, turns out to be crap, I'll be saying so.

Yes, I am the net physics specialist. I beleive the nets were sorted out in the last installment of this great game. They were superb and animated realistically as I requested(Thanks NOKAMI!) ;-)

And I beleive they will be using this same net-physics engine for the upcoming PS3 version..So, to put an end to this once and for all, you will not hear anymore net-physics talk from me. At least not on NOKAMI's games. I will however, be ranting on net-physics over at the FIFA08 boards since those Imbecils at EA have yet to fix them.

I wanna know more about the PC version - is it 100% confirmed that it will have the next gen features? If so that'll definately be the version to go for! No doubt the modders will have to start from scratch again though

Depending on the PS3 screens, I'll decide whether I should update my PC to next-gen DX10 cards, or just buy a PS3 (and a keyboard... I just can't play without it).

Seems like a looong wait till the 5th. Hope something worthwhile is out on the 23rd.
