Knight. sort of agree with you;) , your images do look v good. But I actually think the PES 2008 ones are v good as well, and will probably be better on final version. But at the end of the day for me, as long as the graphics are good, they dont have to be photo realistic, but 90% of the time I will play it from the wide camera view anyway. As long the GAMEPLAY is much better than current gen.
Your screens may look good, but we all know pes6 gameplay has some serious flaws. Hopefully PES 2008 will be more fluid, more animations, more freedom, more randomness, more drama, more "feel",

ENHANCED GAMEPLAY, LAG FREE ONLINE PLAY and ENHANCED MASTER LEAGUE is what will sway me for next gen pes.
kits, nets, grass, faces, balls, boots are all nice, but should be secondary for me.

Tonight before 21 :00 two my friends came to my flat , cause I am taking them every Monday with my car to sport hall, where we are playing indoor football, we love to play PES since ISS on PS1, we remember the huge step on PS2 with PES, we were amazed. Now they ve seen this picture and I ve seen on their faces : and thats it ????? next gen ????. Big dissapointment after all this "rumours " 18 GB version, 2 milions from SOny , 18 months of development , when u see the pictures u will scream : Sing for me Helsinki. Well , than we start thinkin and talking,
maybe its gonna be big improvement of AI, how the players move everything about gameplay, super goals and defence and so on. I dont know. I dont think this are beta version screens, u dont come out with worst u got to show the world how good u re.And its Konami fault cause they made statement: like when u see graphic u will jump from your window , better than Fifa, developers from Tokyo have seen this game and their almost lost memories from childhood when they ve seen this, we fucked up PES6 cause we were developing new revolution and so on. No E3 what about next week, and here we are with really mixed emotions. Some people here are saying stop moaning game will be fantastic , well I dont know but have u seen this game already ? Did I miss anything ? Cause u re telling how great its gonna be and u ve seen shit as I did. We have only seen screens that are slightly better than Xbox360 and thats a fact. Hey winston, lets see it moving first in a video and then judge. As even if the graphics stay the same (which I doubt) but the player movement, animations, responsiveness etc is sublime, then all of this is academic as far as I am concerned. Then at least we know that they can build on the next version and spend more time on the players shirts, boots, grassblades, referee armpit hairs etc but the gameplay is spot on;)

well the screens are pretty good I think, but yes not "amazing". but then again, I was never expecting them to be for this first next gen version. As long as they were better than ps2 and 360 ( which they clearly are) then I would rather they spent all their dev time on gameplay for the first cut of next gen PES, Worry about graphics for PES 2009 for all i care.

i don't think it will be the same ML this time, according to the critics konami had over the years,
i highly doubt that we will have improved ML this time, looking at the unknown player on that sreenshot, makes me think it is from the ML;)

The 360 version was just a HD version of the PS2 one but with a few tweaks here and there. This version is supposed to be the true next gen one. So expect the kind of changes here that we saw with the FIFA series when that got a new engine. Probably not as big but along those lines.
