Lets remember the reason we are so critical is because PES is so close to our hearts... you don't get that from a fifa fans it is the imperfections which push us to critisize and improve the game to what it is today.

Lets just sit back and let Konami do the rest they have never really let us down before have they? (irrespective of the half game PES6 on 360 was)

Typical fanboy comment. I have been playing ISS / WE / PES
probably before you even had a console. So I know what I like and what makes a good game. However Konami have been so lazy in the last few years they may as well only have introduced kit and roster updates since WE8 that's how slow the progression has been. At least EA are trying to push the boundaries and I applaud them for that, now it's time for Konami to get off their arses and do the same.

The stressing out is normal mate when showing off a huge game like the PES series. But Im sure he is shitting himself because of the reaction. But seriously it will be foolish for everyone to critisise it right now. When the next lot of shots comes through we will have a better idea of the graphics.

why do u play pes for graphics or gameplay and features. can't believe what most of the guys are posting the game is a football sim not a fifa game which is arcade for beginners, features what make agame fifa could be like genji (anyone know about this knows) , which looks good but has few animations and gameplay is repetative and a.i. is not challenging, sounds like something familiar too me , i.e. fifa .

Good news Adonis. However, I firmly believe these are in fact final. Why else would Konami release them?

These were released to get the initial shock out of our system. So when more *impressive* info is released, we could recieve it properly.

They are the final screens and the sooner we deal with it, the better...
Here's how my patched pes6 looks on my crappy 5200fx machine. I can't hide my disappointment at these "next-gen" screens...



Every damn detail looks better. Shame.

are there going to be 3 releases this year(asia, europe, and n. america) it just seems odd that there first bit of news about the new game would be pro-evo? is this a worldwide release?

jay d , so is that game the best footie game out or not, if not what are you complaining about what u expext konami to chane there game every year cuz fifa does so much wrong in the gameplay element that they can't keep the engine the same so they have to reinvent it every year so they can't realy improve the gameplay as they have a poor base to start of with .

and the other comment agree totalyy that ea have been progressing fast and shown originality but you can't say there original so there better , if pes is better it's better, compared to fifa , but not improving at the same speed true , that cuz they are lazy and resting on there lorrels.

I cant understand how come you keep thinking that those patched pictures look better than next gen screens. Mate, if you look closer at the next gen screens, you will see that each shirt has it`s own movement and wrinkle, and that means that kits actually do move around player`s bodies. Further more, I cant understand why you dont believe that these are work in progress pictures. Dont you remember the very first next gen screens? Those were shite, Henry looked like retarded monkey on those pictures, with feet 2 times as big as normal. Imagine those new screens in movement, with added details ( the so much wanted untucked shirts, boots, movable kits, gestures, 3d grass etc etc)

This game will be class and you know it.

no not impressed with the screens at all, but not realy bothered if it looks like this as not too bad , i'm realy happy about the features i.e. teamvision etc , i not interested in licensed teams nike balls or anything like that i only care about gameplay, ball physics , a.i. of computer and more master league features , as gta is a hit and the graphics i quite frankly crap, so does this make it worse than getaway or that other game by activision, no it still is miles better and realy no one tals about the graphics diference as is the point here.

Look up "theend" or "the_end" kits. He basically converts Fifa's kits to HD pes6 kits. Totally changes the game.

high res does not mean high def...it definately looks worse than pes7.
