Thank you very much for the kind words. I wasnt too bothered about him not liking the podcast, I just wanted to clarify why he though we lied when the game was announced.

I feel everyone here is missing the point about this Hobby Fair. Thomas posted midweek about the nextgen version not being there, yet everyone keeps expecting something. Why?

Everyone here should focus on the 5th July. I hope Konami let us know everything they have planned.

but I believe calling your podcast a blockbuster is confusing me ^^
i mean every single year we know that around may-june info from winning ( the real info and U AND THOMASGOAL were right is that pes is coming before winning and that was not in your podcast ) is released so I knew that some info ( scans, pictures, well somethin' ) was coming !!
so i was a little dissapointed by your podcast ( just the date we all knew was coming ) because i think everybody were expectin info about the game itself
Now i dont need you too be sure we will have to wait for E3 nothin else ( july 5th to be right E3 is happenin around that, 1 week later to be precise )

In all honesty snowe I dont understand you 100%, but I'll try to answer what you are saying the best I can.

Regarding you expecting info, thats fine. But we confirmed when it was coming, thats a big difference. Secondly I did say in the podcast WE was coming after PES, listening more carefully.

Theres a chance of the game being at E3, but nothing has been confirmed. So dont get your hopes up. What is confirmed is a big feature of PES 2008 in the next PSM3 released 5th July, so look forward to that.

Well they have a lot planned after the 5th. Apparently they've already set out a plan for when all info is going to be released. We've not been informed yet whats going to happen after, Im sure we will know a few days after.

is psm3 a uk mag ? i think psm3 will have all the info in regards to features and how the game will look like in its final state apart from that i hope konami release a video soon after the 5th

You're not the only one who thought that. I personally thought that too at one stage. But like I said ThomasGoal posted information earlier this week regarding the show, stating the nextgen version would not be shown.

Theres nothing wrong with hoping its going to be there, but other people saying 'Konami said it would be there' is nonsense.

All I can say is that I found out this week there is an NDA in place regarding info on PES 2008, and this will be lifted on the 5th July. That so happens to be the same day as PSM3 is released in the UK. Simple really, everyone should buy the mag or wait for people to upload scans on the day. I certainly will do that for everyone.

I'm less disapointed because while I was waiting for info, those screen shots came out before the 23rd, so it's actually ok.
Is it me or are Konami keeping very quiet about the next WE and PES?

Stringer Bell is right, theres nothing weird about the lack of news. Its common practice for game developers to keep quite on the game before release.

Dont forget it doesnt come out for over 3 months at least.

Well WE10 was out the same time as the World Cup, and I'm sure there was news before hand.
Maybe it's because that was released earlier.
But I'm sure we'll get news soon anyway.

WE10 came out on April 27th, the first news came out in March 23rd. That just over a month before release.

You should know by now WE nextgen is released in Japan in Winter. Konami Tokyo work the same way as they always have done, and thats to release information once the game is complete. That tends to be around a month before release.

Dont expect to hear about WE nextgen until maybe after PES 2008 is released.

Can't wait for some more information to come out, especially with all the rumours flying around that the PS3 version is different to the screenshots we've seen so far.

Good question.

After some news came through regarding the title we thought it would be best for us to report on it.

Then we decided afterwards we will report on everything to do with the WE/PES series. I think fans of the series will be intersted in all versions.

We will however mainly focus on the upcoming nextgen titles in the future.

guys just go out and have fun,forget about 5th of july because u will hear the same story.Konami was woking for this game for a very long time now and u all know very well that they never dissapoint(NOT EVEN ON 360) i bet we11 will have more similarities with weX in terms of gameplay than the new j league .Also now is WE11 and is a major thing for sir SEABASS so just relax enjoy summer get j-league or not and have fun whatever u do.Its coming our way and its gonna be perfect without a doubt as adonis and suff say :)

You really dont understand NDA's do you? Of course we know stuff about the game, but WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY. NDA's are contractual agreements. If we break them we lose our contacts, and no contacts in the future.

Thats why NDA's are put in place. Its 5th July for a reason.

It's not as if you need to roll straight out of Oxford uni to get a grasp of what's going on and where.
