The baseball is a huge leap from the character models in Virtua Tennis and I thought that was amazing. I think we can look forward to something along those lines for PES2008 but only during cut scenes etc in exactly the same way as those baseball pics are taken during cut scenes.

Pause the game and zoom in and you will see that the graphics are not quite up to that standard "in game".

I'm from Sweden, and while "Football" is the literal word in Swedish aswell, when I write in English, it is more natural for me to say Soccer. Not sure why, might be because it safeguards any american from thinking you are referring to NFL American Football. :)

I also remember seeing those pictures several months ago. So they aren't brand new so to speak. Hopefully PES graphics will be up to them. Would be sweet. :)

Why would you ‘zoom in’ on their faces in the first place? Having said that, the detail is the same during cut scenes and during replays.

Either way the second pic is not from the tekken6 engine.

Take a look at the latest tekken6 shots, they blow that out of the water, the cloth textures and lighting are outstanding!

Back on topic, someone earlier said there was no cloth movement due to the fact it wasnt sitting tight to the players skin... take a look at thoes baseball shots, its the same thing there although im sure when in motion its incredible.

everyone needs to stop hating and wait for some more solid info.

You wouldn't zoom in, but I mean if you did, you would see the difference between the in game graphics and the cut scene graphics.

yes,the baseball game sure does look awsome
but looking from the BETA screens it wont look like that :(
or that shit aint from PS3:)
personaly i do belief that the REAL PS3 screens are not presented yet.
And the PS3 version wil overrule the reset of the platform rlses :)

Nah, i just think the japs did not let them release anything too cool and keep the nice stuff for the next big event in tokyo where they will be showing the game.
Still honestly very poor PR, i would rather not release infos than having low quality screenschots.

The thread can't be that ridiculous if people keep checking it every 5 minutes. We all know that we will probably need to wait until as least saturday for some more info.

Hm, I´m reading this thread because I´m waiting for news, not to read some childish crap about which version will be better or the graphics are to everybodies satisfaction. There are still trustfull people in here who a digging out info and I don´t wanna miss it.

yeah i agree a lot of this thread doesn't have any value.

the point i was trying to make was that we should be expecting a look similar to that of konami's baseball game i mentioned, for the PS3 at least. I'm not sure why the tekkan screens are being posted, the developer in namco not konami so who cares.

I agree with you there. There is a lot of unrelated stuff being posted here that has little or nothing to do with PES2008.
