Shame on you Konami. Not only is the gameplay engine the same, but they have directly copied 90% of the animations from PES6. So much for a complete overhaul. The Nets look fantastic, but the gameplay looks hectic and JUST TO O FUCKING SIMILIAR TO PES6. Damnit im so pissed off FIFA 08 better be good.

both versions look as good graphically.

yet to confirm feature list for each though, surely they'll announce that after 3pm BST

Don't be to concerned with the animations. They will never look as fluid when recoreded second hand via a phone cam or video cam. I think it looks pretty tasty. Good pace.

Its on the ng4 video Fuzz. They show it from the start; menu, team select, kit select, tactics and a full match.

Oh, by the time I spotted that link (1 minute after it was posted) it wasn't working. The heading says PES2008 and it plays a Bioshock clip!

I'm really disappointed...

We have to wait that long just to have a better NET ???
Sorry, that was the only improvement i could notice...

Same robotic walking/running.
Very bad off the ball movement.
PS2 gameplay is way more fluid...
That's not what I was expecting to be next-gen...
They couldn't even change the penalty shootout engine...put a powr bar or something....the way it is is so random...

Maybe it feels good to play (I still believe it doesnt) but watching it seems very poor...
I can't figure out what konami has been doing the hole year...Oh, yeah, they were implementing the dog walk animation in ML...

HOLY SHIT!! This game is gonna rock FIFA, the graphics are amazing to me, the animations look wonderfull to. The gameplay will be great as always, what a great game this will be!

I think the penalties look better and changed

Great call tiktiktiktik.
Looks exactly the same.
Will play it anyway cos it looks fun and the net physics are probably worth $120 anyway.
