I don't see any water or sweat.

Love the way he's running though, the fingers pointing out seem odd at first, but the whole body shape seems so realistic. I see what those guys in Japan meant by saying the whole game just moves so differently.

The untuncked shirt inclusion will make a lot of people happy but what minor additions will take its place in this thread.Maybe long tape cause the ones we have are not close to real life (e.g Ronaldo) ;)

No blackscreen after foul (I wonder if this is the same for throw ins)

Maybe we can now crog the keeper, and get closer to opposition throw ins?

I agree but I don't want to wait for the next game for this to happen so someone needs to mention this to Konami quick.

Looks like NOKAMI are still working on licenses. I hope they get more for the EPL, River Plate and Boca Jrs.

This game will be amazing!

Time to save up some cash for a PS3 ;-)

i noticed in the ronaldo freekick screen, that he is not in his normal freekick stance.

he normally stands with his feet apart and hands on hips, taking deep breaths.

but maybe i am being picky :)

yeh.

i remember they had the freekick stance of juninho, ronaldinho, henry, beckham.

if ronaldo's stance is so obvious and he is the front cover star, i think it would be a crime not to have it in pes2008.

i think it is on default stance atm, thats why the screen shows it like this.

Man this game looks sick. That Mascherano face is one of the best Ive ever seen in this franchise. And I hate to say I told you so, but I believe that same black guy in the blue did have his shirt tucked out in the earlier screens. Now if they can just license USA, Mex, and Germany we will have almost all the World Cup teams.

No more black screen is definately a welcome inclusion, however does it mean that free kicks, in the free kick screen, will be taken instantly after the foul, so all the players are in the positions they are in when the foul takes place?

I dont understand why its so hard to license international teams, i know fifa have an embargo on certain licenses but surely its not difficult to get the national teams :S or maybe theres more to it that im unaware of

Yes, this is the whole point on Konami emphiasisng this. The only time we'll see cut scenes now is for cards, substitutions, injuries and goal celebrations.

I'm guessing this same concept will also apply to throw ins and corners, you'll see the player run off the pitch and pick the ball up.

I certainly hope this is the case. Also, I would like to see real-time goal celebrations. Meaning that when a player scores, you see an instant animation of the player performing his signature style or random style celebration without having to black out for a cut scene. This animation can happen randomly so as to not get overdone.

It's still a mystery for me of how this 'no black screen' will work.. I don't think the players will run for the ball, it's simply not easy to program right?

By the way, the article mentions that quick free kicks will again be taken by holding down L1+R1 as in WE10/PES6 but does it also say, that we can now hold onto the ball until we play it by pressing 'X'?

I'd be happy if the just put some emotion into the goal celebrations, they're so robotic, there's no passion. I thought the corner flag waving would be good but it looked so gay in PES6.
