Figured it out, hold inAdonis said:yeh you're spot on. Riquelme does is consistantly. Not sure if it is a technique thing, or perhaps a dribble type?
I thinks its ace, really opens up space when surrounded by players.

Protect the ball with the body :
When you arrive in front of a defender, stop the ball, then, hold R2, then, the back direction.
Your player turn around the ball and protect it with arms and body.
The V-Feint :
When the ball is stopped, hold R2 + back direction (your player do the Drag-back)

As I said earlier:Farhan said:Hi guys. It's that time of year again. I'll make my posts on new tricks etc. Some of you guys may remember me from the "Push & go" trick.
The Veron/Ronaldo/Riquelme trick (or atleast i think it is):
Any player that's very good at dribbling can do this (or so I presume, i tried with C.Ronaldo and Figo):
1. Running left-to-right with C.Ronaldo (Right footed Player)
2. Press diagonal down (down-right)
3. As the player turns to the diagonal, hold the opposite diagonal (up-right).
4. The player will do an exaggerated cut back (but not like square + x).
Hope that helps.
You only need to turn 90 degrees to the side thats opposite to the player's stong foot. The reason why your method works is because if you run in the down/right direction, up/right becomes 90 degrees of the direction he's facing.RuneEdge said:I've done it with Cristiano Ronaldo many times. You just turn 90 degrees whilst running (not dashing) and it happens sometimes.
kel said:Apparently, it does not always work.

This in fact works all the time.
