Vista Problems With PES2008 - Direct X Bug

I am unable to run PES2008, the setup always says I do not have the recommended graphics settings needed for the game.

lol, find it quite funny as I have a 8800GTX, Q6600, 4GB RAM lol.

Anyone got a fix for this Vista bug? Looks like it's not finding my VRAM & keeps wanting DirectX9.

The problem is your using 4GB of ram, the game dosnt like anymore than 3GB of ram because of lazy 32bit programming.
They never thought people would be running vista 64 with more than 3gb of ram.
So if you wanna play remove a stick and ram.
Or better yet take the game back, the fact you cant play it on your machine is a complete blessing.

And your problem will be solved . My system is Vista with 4GB RAM and PES2008 runs like a dream thanks to Kitserver .

Caution though - scroll down the thread for Kitserver 7.0f and DON'T apply the Konami patch until the genius lads like Juce who write Kitserver address issues caused by the patch .

it limits the resolution tho :S doesnt allow me to have higher than 1280x700. any way around that? Everytime I try max it, it just says my card is not compatible!

Version 7.0f of Kitserver addresses resolution issues .
